Ha, we'd actually looked into a new store for those - they're pretty cool!cosmicsecret wrote:i went for only 2+1 free deck to avoid additional custom taxes.
would had ordered more but lately i started collecting Funko Pop! Vinyl figures as well.
Haha those are the launch editions (thats a special name tooBikefanatic wrote:Will there be a fall/winter deck or something? I have the original red and black deck, I guess those don't have a special name.
So they'll print 100,000 if they have to under the seasonal blanket. And I'm glad they're doing that. Despite their popularity, there's definitely people who probably bought 20 bricks or something with the sole intention to profit later. Leaving so many out. Many early birds didn't even get a chance.Isn’t this a limited edition deck?
The Spring/Summer 2015 Virtuoso deck is limited in the sense that it is a seasonal product and will not be produced again when the season ends. Hence the name.
However, we’ve never intended to make the Virtuoso deck scarce for the sake of it. Considering its the only deck designed for Cardistry, we actually want this deck in the hands of as many cardists as possible.
The Virtuoso deck just happens to sell out very quickly, and considering how expensive and time-consuming it is to produce a deck of this caliber, we’ve never been able to print more than our original run. And with the demand for the SS15 Virtuoso deck being many, many, times more than any Virtuoso deck before it, it also happens to be more scarce and limited than ever.
Does it really matter? It's not like they were super limited in the first place anywayCbkimble wrote:But how are they going to differentiate the originals.
Mine fanned out just fine without powder.dleiber wrote:I just received my order of the new SS15 deck by the Virts and was wondering if it needs fanning powder first or should I be able to do fans out of the box? (I'm a total newbie at fanning, so it's probably me, but I was very surprised that I could fan better with several other decks (e.g., White Ghost, Archangels, Shadow Masters, and even standard Bikes) I have than with these.)
Regardless of being new to this, I was thinking my fans would look the same or better with "better" decks, so I'm perplexed.
Yer I did.Cbkimble wrote:Did y'all pay for first shipped?
