We don't want anyone to feel like they are being taken advantage of, or simply feeding us money. Once all the promos and craziness settles, making the black club member store and benefits incredible is our #1 priority.

Any idea if Red Artifice or LTD. uncut sheets will become available to black club members?

Appreciate it Mike.

I was only half joking, anyway. Didn't mean to sound insulting or ungrateful, and I can't really blame you for my decisions... ..or can I :? :o

Just a little buyers remorse. Its a lot of money to part with for a "no-magic-just-playing-cards-please" collector like myself, and I'm taking a chance that you will be coming up with more than a few cool, and truly exclusive decks in the near future. <fingers crossed>

Thanks again. Glad you are keeping us informed.

Turns out what is inflating it is the 15 Deck Box that comes with membership. It weighs close to 2 lbs.

I'm in the US, so I jumped. Also picked up a few other things with the 15% deal (which stacks on top of the multiple deck discounts).

I am now a member of another club specifically designed to take my money... feeling a little sick now :|

CBJ? Want to go halves? I'll make sure you get a Black Artifice as soon as it becomes available. ;)

Wait I have a quick question, does the box come with any cards at all? or is it just a box?

It says Black Club Playing Card Storage Box With Magnetic Closure (holds 15 prized decks*) followed by: Does not include the type II Remington Dillinger Gun (manufactured before 1911) shown above, or the 1933 Double Gold Eagle $20 U.S. that are worth (7) million dollars each, the most expensive coins in history. Package does not include the decks seen inside the Black Club storage box.

Does this mean that there are decks that come with it or not? All these other companies using confused wordplay has got me overanalyzing everything!

I'm pretty sure it's just a fancy storage box for "15 prized decks" in your collection... though I sure would love to be proved wrong. That would definitely kick butt if I got the case and open it to find one of each of E's best decks (Gold Arcane, Black Ghost v1, Red Artifice... etc...)

It would also be awesome if you can take us international members into account as well. Having to do multiple shipments really kills a lot of "deals" for us, so whenever possible if releases can be grouped together (or even paid for and held for consolidation) that would be a HUGE positive for us.

Yes a option which lets you choose to get your item(s) shipped right now or hold onto till you got everything
You want together and if so you pay shipping on the last order for everything.

Hope this makes sense :-)

That is much easier said then done. The problem is that too many people think that since the items haven't shipped yet, they could change their order at will. I know I have been through this. It becomes a huge problem and in the end, everyone ends up unhappy.

Thanks!

sorry for the offtopic ;)
It was just a idea to improve the sales.
I mean everyone hates to pay huge amounts on shipping,at least i do.
So and if i can save money on shipping, then i do place more orders.
That´s why i rarely buy from E/D&D/T11.
The only bigger company who offers reasonable shipping is HOPC/TBC.
If i order at E lets say 18 decks i have to pay
First-Class Mail International Parcel - $33.65
Priority Mail International - $45.96

Now at BMPoker i pay $19,95 for priority mail envelope.Even if i pay $10 more at his store then at E,i save a lot money on the shipping plus my shipment goes out within 24hrs.

back to topic :
I would have got myself such a membership as well but like Strag i´m from Europe and the shipping kills every sweet deal (plus customs).

Purchased the "Black Club" Membership and now I see the membership benefits changed:

When I purchased it said “(3) Downloads of your choice” and now it now says (3) Downloads of your choice “from these selected videos”. The videos listed are the $5 - $15 videos instead of videos "of my choice". Kind of bait and switch don’t you think? Would have been a better deal to offer us any of the available Ellusionist videos to download.

I think some videos come with magic gimmics, even though you can download the videos, you still dont have props. that's only my idea, I never go though all the magic videos of E, I 've only watched a few, since I am not into magic that much. those 3 downloads chances mean nothing to me, I really hope I can trade this for some cheap decks

Can't really call that bait and switch really because you have the link accessible to click on before you make the purchase. Even if it changed, you should always read everything. A true bait and switch would have been "You can download any dvd from our warehouse for free," and then when you check out, it will take you to the black club members page and says, "You have 3 downloads from these dvd's only."

Didn't take long for one of these to show up on Ebay...

This person must really not want their deck, or they're that damn confident they will get more...

although it seems very likely that the bid would end up at about $100 with the 3+ days to go, not a bad sale if he uses the membership to sell other items to make more profit..

Have sent an email to Ellusionist which is still unanswered. Have also sent a PM to Mike here that I hope does get answered. Very unhappy with my purchase experience so far (lack of response, only one order shipped). Will post updates of any resolution.

In the past 3 months, I've sent multiple messages to E support, and to their facebook page mods, and have had zero response.

I have found that their customer support is great, once you reach them by phone. This may take a few tries. E mails seem to go unanswered until after you make voice contacts, however after that initial contact has been made ( in my case) the E support staff has been fast, efficient, and helpful.

Along the E line for me
I just got my black club package today.
This is probably the purist form of buyers remorse I have ever felt.
What possessed me to pay $ 147 for 1 deck of cards, a bracelet I will never use and a 5% discount that if the number of decks they release stays consistent will save me about $20.
I am not a magician or flourished
I am most certainly a fool though

That's odd, I got an order from Ellusionist about three weeks ago with some damaged decks, and I emailed customer support and got a response email from them within a day and they arranged for replacement decks, which I got a week later. I also received my Black Club membership package yesterday as well.

I, too, am feeling some buyer's remorse as well. All I can say is that they better provide some awesome exclusive decks for members only in the future, as well as plenty of advance notice and purchasing ability of hot new releases to make this worth while for non-magicians. I think I'm going to have to sell a couple of Black Artifice decks and the bracelet to try to recoup some of my money on this. I have to say, the collector's box is pretty cool, though.....

Yeah, I'm not too worried about what I paid for the membership. It hopefully will work itself out with special access to members only stuff at a discount and preview availability before regular customers can grab stuff.

I wonder about this myself. A wristband that lights up? It is battery operated, they talk about it a bit on the E forums. I just have no idea how it relates to magic. What do you do with it.

Yes that is what it appears to be. It comes with the battery.

Thanks!

It's just a cosmetic item.
It's actually a mind control device, a big part of Brad's master plan to take over the world.

A wristband called "Halo" that DOESN'T light up would be worse marketing than DnD
