I think this is a very nice deck as well and echo, it is much nicer than the former Oz decks. This wizard of oz deck is laid out well. Particularly enjoy the art on the jokers. I also think the show stopper on this deck is the AoH, it's great. Good things here, including the back design. It's got twisters!
TL:DR It's completely up to you. We can still be friends. I actually like playing cards. We live in interesting times.
I'm still not sure, but it really bothers me that they keep calling it the 'Bicycle deck' yet clearly the tuck isn't branded. Seems like that is something USPCC would frown on advertising it this way, but even if not I find it confusing. I have the original Impressions deck and was really surprised by them so I'm interested in seeing another use of them, the rest of the artwork is pretty good too, but it hasn't pulled me all the way in yet. Maybe because of the 'Bicycle' thing.

I agree. It does look like she has skinny courts. If you notice she is trying to use the background also. They could be fuller and wider. I might mention it, but it might be to late.

For a first deck, it's pretty good. I can't even bitch about the indices not lining up. It works so far. I would really like to see the "10" card. It's the only card that has two symbols for the rank of card. She also has a suit indicator and the Back is "2-way". I went in for the $25 pledge. I would not normally get this deck, but I want to feel the glossy finish on the MPC back of card. This is the first Kickstarter to use USPCC and MPC together. Right?
Project has just added incentives: if you pledge for three or more Oz decks, get a free deck from their earlier campaign (Illusionist).
If you pledge for 5 Oz decks or more, get both the Illusionist deck and a free additional Bicycle Oz deck.
I, for one, am particularly interested in seeing the impressions version of this deck. Given that they appear to have successfully shipped on their previous projects, I'd like to see this one do well.
I'm surprised this one didn't get the usual boost that most projects get when there's two days left to go. It's come close, but it looks like this project isn't going to close the deal. I'm a little bummed. This certainly isn't the "best" deck I'm currently bidding on at KS, but it's still one that I've been very much looking forward to getting my hands on. Alas.
I completely agree. This one is so much better than the one Albino Dragon did a few months ago. Maybe they can try again later or find someone to buy the artwork and print it themselves like several other great unfunded decks are doing these days.

I don't recall CPC doing an OZ deck. I think you're thinking of Albino Dragon.

I will note that the project creators have not been particularly active with the updates/promotion, as far as I've seen. The most recent update was excellent, promising additional rewards in exchange for higher pledge tiers, but I suspect a little more engagement from the project creators could have lead to more word-of-mouth being generated, more buzz to support the project.
Perhaps something to keep in mind for next time, if it doesn't fund this time around.
I for one would really love to see this deck become a reality partly because I was the one who illustrated the Emerald City tuck box for this one. It would be really cool to finally hold something I made. Although Suzanne's Illustrations are also great too. But I guess it would be really hard to get it funded given that the time limit is about to end.
There's so much popping up on Kickstarter now, competition to be funded is intense. Everyone is trying to get the limited funding dollars backers have. I think last year, this funds no problem. This year, it's been non-stop so far. I agree I would love to see this deck be made.

I agree. Also with this added competition the pressure will be on for creators to really give out even more fresh well designed cards. I think it's going to be good for everyone in the long run.
I don't know. There was something about this one that just didn't grab me and I'm not sure why.
I do have to say Cellar, that I really liked the Emerald City tuck.
I was watching and would have jumped in for a deck or two at the last minute to help push it over if it had been closer.
All the big projects that launched after the first of the year really tapped everyone out.
Hopefully, if it relaunches in a month or two it will have a better chance of funding.
