For the pips, yes. Also just that it's such a common thing to do. And it's kinda redundant. Pips on the backs of playing cards, I mean, come onEvanEssence wrote:MagikFingerz wrote:Pips in the four corners of the back design and banners on court cards - two of the most common things rookie deck designers do that merely limit the potential of the deck. Is this because they force them to be one way?
(noob)
I do agree with you on the mediocrity of the pips on the back design but the banner on the aces is pretty okay tho. That being said I wish their artist Marco Aro gave equal time on designing the banners for the court cards as they look pretty much last minute designing. Overall there are a lot of inconsistencies with this deck in terms of design quality.MagikFingerz wrote:Pips in the four corners of the back design and banners on court cards - two of the most common things rookie deck designers do that merely limit the potential of the deck. These days, yes it certainly is. While theoretically possible I find it doubtful that someone would plop $5000 on a sculpture from an unknown creator that has only backed one project. That's fine-art gallery money...jerichoholic wrote:More suspicious funding. This one went from like 90% to almost 170% overnight, nothing suspicious there right?

Crap is crap, bought or not. Why would anyone want a tuckless deck when most of us don't open them?
Again, pitifull Jacksonesque attempt. I don't approve of ripping off even the poor attempt to use someone else's style, no matter how lame.
