I realize the user contact feature is still being worked on, but perhaps you can add an editable profile field for each user as well? Just a simple paragraph length text field that each user can specify anything they want - interests, collection focus, white whale list, decks for sale, personal website, username at other sites, etc.

Do you mean that even with a system volume at 0, the reminder's sound level would be the one for notifications in the current profile ?
