Rarebit - on hold for now. They had a fire recently and were closed for a while.

I'm going to be really surprised if they don't make them available somehow. It's going to be a real shocker if they don't show up on T11!

"Thanks for contacting us! The Mail Chimp cards are awesome, aren't they? No word yet on if we will be selling these, but we certainly are interested in the idea. They would certainly be limited edition if we were able to obtain some. I can't say much more than that yet, but fingers crossed that we will have some available before too long here!"

I guess there is hope. Lol.

Yep, that was just enough of "can't say yet" and no definite no's, so I'd expect to see these available (albeit highly limited) somewhere down the line. Thanks for sharing the response!

I hope that they do, really. I was able to snag a trio of them because I'm a customer, but I've never seen them available for sale. Actually a very well-done deck with neat features including a monkey head on the gold deck seal, a chimp in the middle of the "Rarebit" looking tuck as well. Pix are somewhere in the "Look what I added..." thread, right now I'm 15 minutes from pushing the button a second time or I'd find it.

The red MailChimp deck in the prize pool for UC 2014 Deck of the Year contest may well be the last one to trade hands. When I read this, I wanted to let my friends here know.

Thanks for the update Mike, glad these are still apparently happening. Horrible color choice IMO though, the original looks so much better. No wait, this one is WAY WAY better than the original as a prize in UC, step away!

Either way, I'll be glad to get my hands on the deck, even with the changes. This seems to be taking forever to be made available (over 9 months now since announced).

I have to agree, I prefer the red Rarebit-esque feel version. Who knows? You know how they try to stump us in marketing: maybe both, or "buy a custom brick of black and get one red"?

I was glad when I seen "soon" in the thread title. I agree with everyone, I like the red and blue too. The tuck just looks too boring. They could've at least had the tuck outlined with another color or made it look similar to the Gatorbacks tuck with "something" colored.

So at least the original red might be at least an option, or maybe they changed their mind about the black? Either way, that is AWESOME news! I've had this on my wishlist since I saw these last year, but I gotta wonder how those that spent $100-$300 on the original deck on ebay feel if that's true. I guess they still have the 'original', but it will likely be quite similar to this one (great news for us though)!

Go figure, my source at MailChimp HQ in Atlanta said no. I bet that is why it is taking so long. People saw it in black and said "no way!"...

I wonder if you can tell theirs from the OG ones? It would be a shame to kill a highly collectible deck! That picture doesn't look exactly right, close - but it could be a rendering.

Sher - do you notice the difference? The one I have has higher contract, and clearly black background, not blueish.

Yep, it is, but there is something different otherwise,I think. I can see mine in the acrylic case with Lotrek's Grotesque signatures, V Gold and Lorenzo's mercury Gran Riservas.

I have seen the pix, and to me it is obvious. Frankly, I think we should not say exactly what, because the minute someone posted the URL of the dummy page on T11 with stock numbers, it disappeared - the walls have eyes...
