Me too.

My photos definitely do not do them justice.

Your photos came out much better than mine did. I honestly don't think any photos would do the tucks justice though. Maybe video would, hard to say. They're really impressive. :D

Went to the Philippines for vacation and came back with this :D I got them for much less than what they're going for on eBay. :? Got only one... Should have bought the remaining two, but I didn't have enough cash with me after my shopping spree that day.

Nice haul, Strag!

I'm particularly pleased to see the Peter Wood decks. He and I have been friends since the 1990s. You have a couple of his decks I've yet to get ("Fantastic Fur" and the Pumpkin Show one), but I have several others missing from your pic. :)

I have quite a few of his missing from that pic as well, these are only the ones I got as part of the Newts KS. The pumpkin ones he basically just did the back and tucks for, not the entire deck.

Newt's had a KS campaign? I missed it!

Yup, he did that with a handful of Newt's "museum decks" (I think that's what Newt's calls them, anyway...).

Agree Three Sheets was the ultimate, but I did pledge for his Chug Kickstarter, which actually was my very first Kickstarter project I backed. My how things have changed! I have quite a few other Pleepleus merchandise as well, especially shirts. I always appreciate it when somebody understands why I do this after they burp.

Nice ones Robert! The Xmas cards 2 seem to be from the same artist who has made the Spoons game. I see those at walmart all the time. :)

That seems likely, Eoghann (even though I don't see it), because both decks are manufactured by Patch Products (http://www.patchproducts.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).

In fact, one of the Extra cards in the ChristmasCards2 deck is an Advert card for their Giant Spoons deck/game.

BTW, I only call it "ChristmasCards2" because I already have a "ChristmasCards" deck (that 1986 deck with suits of Elves, Reindeer, Christmas Trees and Snowmen), and my filing system, such as it is, requires each deck to have a unique name.

Got these today. I only found the court edition interesting. It's great how accurately the clear registers over the ink. I was concerned it would be all shifty.

And the great retro deck. Looking forward to the white version. :)

OK, technically I haven't added these to my collection because I didn't buy them but, I spotted them today and had not seen them before.

Standard faces, boring back and despite the lack of seal they say USPC on the bottom.

Just picked up this old 1922 deck... using the sellers description and pics for ease

Here's a gorgeous rare deck with Saint George and slaying the Dragon pictured back.

The linen grained deck was made by Goodall that created this artifact as a honored inspired story that offers you a historic battle scene symbol effect that is simply stunning!

The 52 + joker deck is made of a high quality fabric grained linen, 8 slight creases,, simply age worn slightly and edge worn and mostly surface soiled from normal gameplay.

Great box , slight worn but in acceptable condition. Don't miss out on this true piece of English history as this deck shines above the rest!

Saint George and the Dragon.Saint George and the DragonEastern Orthodox depictions of Saint George slaying a dragon often include the image of the young maiden who looks on from a distance. The standard iconographic interpretation of the image icon is that the dragon represents both Satan (Rev. 12:3) and the Roman Empire. The young maiden is the wife of Diocletian, Alexandra. Thus, the image as interpreted through the language of Byzantine iconography, is an image of the martyrdom of the saint.

The episode of St. George and the Dragon was a legend brought back with the Crusaders and retold with the courtly appurtenances belonging to the genre of Romance. The earliest known depiction of the legend is from early eleventh-century Cappadocia (in the iconography of the Eastern Orthodox Church, George had been depicted as a soldier since at least the seventh century); the earliest known surviving narrative text is an eleventh-century Georgian text.

Today i was able to pick up the Sawdust Uncut sheet plus 1 signed deck from the customs.
It has been sent 6 weeks ago - 4 weeks of that time sitting at the customs office....plus had to pay additional USD 13 customs taxes. :(
I´m writing this cuz i´m a bit angry about the fact that this could have been easily avoided by writing a low value on the customs label of the tube.
I mean those are playing cards... writing a value of $20 usd is very believable...even $1. It´s not a playstation 4 you´re declaring as a $20 value which no one would believe. That´s just common sense.
The tube arrived on December 20th 2014 in germany and would have been delievered right before christmas but Nope hangs in customs...sucks big time! :x

/rant off

Now it hangs on my wall next to the curator 1st edition uncut.the clipped wings had to move to the other wall (in the background) since i have only 2 spots on the "display" wall and the curator goes better along with the sawdust next to it.
