Lorenzo, you've done an amazing job! And thank you for the great number :)
Excellent! Swedish postal green always gets my attention: my early Christmas was a Heretic Lux to play with during the holidays, and as always, Lorenzo never disappoints!

I got something in the mail from makeplayingcards.com when I came back from Vegas. I have not been in Vegas for 10 years. Things have changed. Most BlackJack tables are 6 to 5. It's hard to find a 3 to 2 for BlackJack. NewYork NewYork had a good table. It even had surrender.

It says $2.42 to ship to San Antonio, Tx

It rattled like a Christmas box. No protection, but a plastic sleeve. No bubble wrap.

I checked my mail when I got home about an hour ago... Lo and behold a large, bright green shipping envelope from Stockholm. Hmmmm, I wonder what that could be? Sweeeeet! It's late and I am far too tired, not to mention sick, to break out the camera. I'll take some pics tomorrow when I get in from work. For now let me just say, Lorenzo you've outdone yourself my friend.

Lord Nikon, I don't know much about that series, but I seem to recall recent discussions that that deck is super super rare. Congrats!

I am pretty excited that I finally broke down and ordered the 52 Aces v2 (light edition) and it finally showed up today from Germany. I should maybe start a new thread about it as I don't think it's been discussed here before, at least not in it's own thread. It is a 2012 art deck, have you all discussed it previously?

From ebay back in early 2013, I got the Bicycle Karnival Dose Redux deck for under $20. It's crazy now that it's considered rare! The Bicycle Brimstone decks WERE rare, I bought mine for $35 but now with the improved tuck it's about $12 that anyone can get. It's decks like Bicycle: Draw Like A Boss, Burton, Dreamcatcher, Premier and Clot to name a bunch will be the extremely rare ones.

If you're a member on here now, you have the advantage of staying updated with the new decks coming out. It's be interesting to think of a current deck that's recently been out (besides the red gatorbacks) that will be rare a year or two down the line. Maybe the Bicycle SSUR deck?

I don't think the SSUR decks will be that sought after since they seem to be making new runs every now and then.

One deck that does come to mind though is the Firehost deck. They were given away for free a year or so back through their site, but not many people got them even though it's a cool little custom deck.

@Bikefanatic not sure why these Karnival cards were/are so popular. It isn't as if I was looking for them myself yanno. I guess my son saw a picture on instagram or some crap since he has a account there for his magic. Less than a year ago I came across the original Karnival Dose deck and so I purchased him one. The Dose Redux also came up in my searches but no one sold them. I saw sale prices on ebay and other locations and figured it must be rare/hard to get since that's what the few I found were selling for. :)

I don't have the Dose Redux. How is it different than the original Dose (other than having the word "Redux" on the tuck)?

@RSLancastr, here is the information I found on it:

By Big Blind Media

The Dose Redux is a TOTALLY NEW imagining of the Dose Deck. We have a brand new back design that works both ways round (so it's not a oneway design like the old deck), and a sexy new foil box.

A stunning (totally new) design - every card has been re-imagined and beautifully rendered by renowned French artist Sam Hayles. With a theme somewhere between grungy post-modern and elegant macabre, this is THE deck to own.

Can be integrated with standard bicycle cards and other decks from the Karnival-Inc range (Karnival Original, Midnight, Assassins, Renegades, Ryujin and Dead Eyes) for creating super cool routines!

Brought to you by BigBlindMedia, the Bicycle Karnival Dose has the USPCC world famous Air Flow Finish for superb handling and unparalleled durability.

A beautifully realised card reveal on one of the jokers - (an Ace Of Hearts pokes from a crack in the Joker's skull).

A bonus card with the message 'You will choose the Four Of Clubs' emblazoned across it.

A double faced card to use in your magic routines

A hidden card reveal on the bottom of the card case (Jack Of Clubs).

So, my daughter told me she wasn't going to feed my obsession by giving me cards this Christmas. Then she surprised me with these. LOL!

They're from Shutterfly. The picture on the back is from her wedding (they got married at a Science Museum). I thought the courts were different enough to be interesting.

I got my Rhapsody deck in Vegas back in mid September. I seen them in Ohio like a month after that which is usually quick. My Walmarts got everything except the Civil War decks which I would pick one up if I ever seen it.
