Looks like these will be launching tomorrow around 12pm danish time( roughly 6am ET/5am CT ). Time is not definite, he said he is hoping to launch around that time.

The fan of the red deck looks pretty slick, but show me something other than the back... especially since the buzzfeed is promoting all custom stuff.

It's his interpretation and based upon something he clearly enjoys a great deal. I can respect that. It may or may not be for me, still I can respect it.

No it's not "just" standard faces. The black number cards are standarts like in most decks, the red cards had been changed very slightly in shape and of course got a few new colors.
The Ace of spades is custom made to lok like a tree, and the court cards are supposed to look like Avatars, and then again not. I wanted them to be simple and not too fancy. To still have that original court card look, but also to look a little like the Na'Vis from the movie Avatar without looking too much like them (Don't want any trouble with Corpyright stuff and such)

I like the diamond and heart pips. The courts look hideous. He should have just gone all the way by making the courts avatars but would have to deal with the C&D.

No mention of a printer anywhere, so I doubt it's USPCC or EPCC.

EDIT: Now live. International shipping is the same everywhere, same cost to ship 1 country over to me as the US, New Zealand or what have you

The amount of pledges per level seems pretty limited, and the top tier has no rewards. Just for "if you feel a bit generous" lol.

I like the deck though, so I'm in for a dual pledge for now. But some things needs to be addressed if I'm going to keep it.

The back design. That's about it lol. The price isn't bad either though, not counting the shipping (about $20 for the pair).

Unfortunately, it is ~$29 US for a pair shipped (anywhere). A bit rich IMO - I too like the red deck primarily because of that 'ribbon' effect in a fan, but not that much. I still think it's a little too close to the film IP - might still get shut down...

You're right, I totally missed that. Unless they added it very recently. In any case, that settles that.

There might be copyright issues with Avatar movie.... it´s clearly avatar, eyes included. Maybe if he changes a couple of things it is just a deck with blue-faced courts and no other references.
