Counting The Cards KS
This is apparently a deck of cards but I don't understand anything on this campaign. I did see that his goal is apparently 1 million decks by New Year's but there ain't no chance in that happening.

Seems like stand up guy. That he's pulling faces while naked in a swamp concerns me a bit. I'm almost intrigued to see what the special gift tin contains. Maybe some tooth fillings and nose hairs?

Yeesh
Will this face hunt you down if you don't pledge?!?
This may not be a deck for a friendly game of cards.

Re: Counting The Cards KS
Just a quick question. Am I the only one with absolutely no idea what's going on with this deck? Are the pics the courts or backs? Honestly I didn't read the novel (description). And is he shooting for one million decks? Well at least he isn't calling them limited.

Re: Counting The Cards KS
This guy has no idea what he is doing which is fine. His Kickstarter will fail, but to come on the scene with a lie is being shy short of a scammer.
So, I take it each one of the 99 decks is $2500 each? Makes me want to mess with the guy and ask him which Museums he has lined up to show his #1 deck. Naw. It's not worth it... He looks like some kind of a serial killer.

This is simply fascinating. Mostly I really appreciate that he brought back the great lost art of using animated gifs. Apparently also background music. Epic.

Wow ecNate! You must be old. I personally listened to "Funny Song" while checking out his Kickstarter. I thought if you wanted to mark a deck it should be on the top left of the back of card? You see the top left when you see your opponent. I don't think this guy has a clue.... Now everyone respond to ecNate response so we can all get a headache.ecNate wrote:This is simply fascinating. Re: Counting The Cards KS
So he replied back pretty fast.
Lonnie Dalson says:
Working on lining up the museums. Going to build a small one here in Orlando for playing cards. My family owns a printing company. We will take care of that. The tins are being made overseas. a movie is in production. The character "Grey Dalco" that will be played by Lonnie himself, uses the Magical and Powerful Marked Playing Cards to "Time travel," "See Peoples Personalities," and as a "Weapon" and "Magical Tool." He can also "Communicate with it" into different Realms and Times in history. He gets into all kinds of situations on his journey that the Awesome and all Powerful Playing Card helps get him out of.
I don't recall a movie mentioned on kickstarter. Not sure of the quality of a family owned printing company. And he was to start up his museum. I shall pass. Plus the backs are horrible and not even sure about the courts.

Re: Counting The Cards KS
So the thing is he can probably prove this to be true.
All you have to do is go onto the websites of each of those news agencies and write a comment in the discussion section of one of the stories.
Tah Dah , they are now "talking" about it at those places.
If you really want to get into it. You can sign in as another user and comment on your own comment. That way there is a "conversation" about this AWESOME project.
Who has two thumbs and bought the first deck of "Counting The Cards" sold on kickstarter ... "This Guy"

Since this is someone's actual face, I apologize for calling it creepy. Probably just the expressions the face is making, and not the actual face.

I'm sorry, but this really looks like something from the mind of a delusional movie character. Are you sure this is real? I'm flabbergasted, to be honest. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into this but my goodness, I've never seen anything this bizarre before.

If that won't this will. He lost his only pledge today. I wonder what he is thinking right now? Million decks?

Re: Counting The Cards KS
One of the glaring short comings of KS, in my opinion, is the lack of a way to report a project for suspected fraud. It really makes KS seem like they don't give a damn about the backers or enabling fraud, as long as they get their cut.

Re: Counting The Cards KS
I just now finally watched the 'video' and I'm blown away. I hope the music used is included in the soundtrack for the upcoming movie. There's also some amazing photoshop work and realistic scenarios, but these are my two favorites:
Mandatory CGI hottie with the logo
My favorite is this loving couple memorized by the logo on the television. I know last night we had a very romantic evening staring at the logo on the computer monitor. It was hot!
This can't be a real serious project, can it? Please be a joke. Please be a joke. Please be a joke. Please be a joke...

What happened to the animated flag gif? I liked them. Oh, he took them down so that means he must be listening. What was that? Did you hear that?ecNate wrote:I just now finally watched the 'video' and I'm blown away. I hope the music used is included in the soundtrack for the upcoming movie. In his video it seems like he is putting his strategy for wold domination. I have to admit he has balls. 0 = "Million decks" 1 = "I think I will make some business cards"
2 = "I'm so successful I think I'll get laid"
3 = "Yep. There sure is an App for that"
4 = "Computer domination"
7 = "Media domination"
Guess what the rest are?.... I just can't get why 8 = "T-shirts" I would think T-shirts would right after making business cards or getting laid.

I love your comments. It isn't a serious deck for serious players like you guy's obviously are. In the title it say's novelty... I'm glad you like my girl with the hat! I did invent her, she is just one of the many I own. Talk later, Lonnie.

Re: Counting The Cards KS
I made a lot of change on the site due to the overwhelming positive feed back that I have been getting including, changing the video, changing the 1 million deck goal, narrowing to one set, removing my positively awesome joker expressions. I know, I know... But that is how I created the face. Since I am in the movie as the main character I thought I should do that.. Well, mabye not... Talk later. Lonnie

Your crazy as a Loon. If you got tough skin, stick around. Try not to double post. Ppl get mad here if you do. I think marked decks should be in the top left of card not the middle. You have to think; What can I see in my opponents hand...
