What is Scarlett? Seems like the same back of card. Is it Smooth or Embossed? "Finest Quality Playing Cards" is something I can believe. I will get my cards. So, what is story from #9 "A Dougherty" to #13 "Kings Wild Project? 13 is an unlucky number to superstitious ppl....

13 as in 2013 ,like the original Bees were 92.

I'll be the dissenting voice here I guess, not liking it as much as the blue Tally-Hos and definitely not as much as the Blue & Yellow ones that were first teased many many moons ago. When will we ever see those? Or are they just yet another cancelled JR project like the baseball, arrow and military decks? The back just isn't very appetizing to me, not as nice as the previous iteration. If the price is sky high (as it most likely will be) I doubt I'll even get one.

From the out-of-focus seal, these look like they're a 1,000 deck limited run. If so, I doubt I'll be going for a brick due to cost... :-)

Considering they're USPCC, either these got into the 1,000 deck window, maybe JR got special allowance, or perhaps a bigger, less limited, run is coming too?

If you're right and these really are a limited set of 1000, then I doubt if there is going to be a brick deal.
The bigger question is where they're going to be sold.
If on KS, in the past Jackson's KS campaigns the most number of limited decks you could buy were 2.
I'm guessing we'll find out soon.

Yet another amazing Jackson deck. But I've learned my lesson to not get my hopes up about his decks anymore. I will believe this when I see it in my mailbox, if it ever gets that far.

From PCF:
I'm either going to directions with the run, still working out some production details, but the project will most definitely center around limited editions as that is what my costumers are demanding.

Option A
Unlimited Run probably end up in the $10-$13 range (including shipping costs)
1000 Limited Edition USPCC Gilded Versions
50 Special Editions that I'm not ready to reveal yet

Option B (ALL limited editions)
1000 Limited Editions
250 Special Edition USPCC Gilded Versions
50 Special Editions that I'm not ready to reveal yet

If I go with option B there will be NO brick option and most likely a 3 deck cap of each edition.

They will have all new court cards and nothing related or carried over from my previous Tally Hos.

I've worked out some really great stuff with Paul Middleton for shipping all of my European orders. The funny thing is the UK backers will most likely pay less than the US backers.

1000 for gilded seems rather high. Will be interesting if the comment on UK pricing holds.

I'd like to see a flat, firm 1,000 printed, will take my chances getting more than three. From a collector standpoint you'll know exactly what you're getting.

I like the idea of a not so limited and hopefully affordable gilded deck.

I think he is doing only 250 gilded. He knows to have white borders. Glad someone is doing gilded edges beside Uusi. Not to say Uusi are not good. http://youtu.be/lnZnUkEhbgw

looks like the plans for affordable decks are out the window then, if the most basic unlimited decks are running $10-13

The thing is that Uusi is the only one that is really gilded as opposed to golden foil. The price for machine gilded decks should be much more reasonable! It's not 23¾k gold leaf.

I think it's interesting and I like it but i'm sure for the money they'll sell for, it's not worth it to me. I'd rather have a "regular-sized" deck that will fit in my display cases.

I dont understand this, why only 50? Why not 100? 200? It is still just a small amount that you can raise your price for such a 'limited edition.' Its like he pulled a number out of a hat...

One word for you: exclusivity. The rarer they are, the higher the demand. The higher the demand, the more he can charge. The more he charges, the more he makes. Marketing 101. I for one think it's a great idea! Really- no sarcasm.

You make it sound like that's always the case though, which it isn't. It's an equation that might pay off and might not (although I'm sure Jackson has done his math), and it's hard to determine if it did even after the fact. Higher price and more products sold both increase revenue, and they need to be balanced against each other. Figuring out the optimal ratio between the two might not be as simple as you'd think.
