Re: MoonShine
Very interesting cards. Is it just me or does that card stock look really thick?
TL:DR It's completely up to you.

I'm so excited! & I received a refund from Forever21 today. I guess I know where those extra funds are going towards.

Re: MoonShine
The Rank of the card needs to be centered with the suit index. They need to fix that. Who is running the show over there? That is 101 shit...

It's called moonshine, they probably saw double and thought they were centered. Lmao.

Re: MoonShine
Thanks for your input. However the rank and suit alignment can be positioned in whatever way we feel best suits the deck. If you didn't realize, the deck is moonshine. Made in the back woods by hillbillies using car radiators. The real classy type. If we thought it should be positioned perfectly, we would have.

@Mike24 - Hey, do what you want. It's your deck. I'm just pointing out the obvious. Makes me wonder what else is in store with the limited pictures you provide. Usually, the alignment is consistent, but if your going with a hillbilly moonshine deck more power to ya. Maybe you could make up some words on your tuck box or put 8 pips on the 9oC since hillbillies can't read nor count.

Actually the hillbillies I know, and I do know a few, are all very good at math and reading... they just don't like following rules.

Agreed - what's your deal Sprouts? People can do whatever they want. I've seen your input before and it's hardly ever in a respectful manner. You act like your above all when it comes to giving feedback. This deck is looking incredible. By the look of your avatar pic, you shouldn't be giving advice anyway.Eoghann wrote:Long as we remember we're here to provide suggestions and not orders we should be fine. Well, YOUR post doesn't really add anything but negativity to Eoghann's point. Sprouts is an acquired taste, let's just leave it at that.

Re: MoonShine
Can't we all just get along? Ellusionist is a big company, they know what they're doing (for the most part I assume. Well just forget about Induldge.)
Nobody ever said cards have to have the index and suit perfectly centered just as nobody said all decks have to have 52 cards minimum. I think we all just need to remember this thing called artistic license, take a step back and take a breath before things are said that will be regretted later.
And most importantly, we need to stop posting under the influence.

Your right, I shouldn't have said anything negative - just anger built up from always running across his posts. I see his feedback responses and they're never written in a constructive way - they always just sound egotistical and aggressive. My apologies and if I met him in person I'm sure I'd feel differently.

Re: MoonShine
@DJKroemer - THUNDERDOME!! Hardly from the truth. So, what make a good magicians deck? Is it the fan? All I'm saying, show us the cards. We can find the mistakes and fix them. Why so mysterious with the card pictures? I like your tuck box so far. Is that what you want? Only positive responses? Most ppl are scared to write on the tuck box for some reason.

Re: MoonShine
Poor Thunderdome is just sitting there, gathering dust. Its thirst for blood hasn't been quenched in a while.
Kroemer just decided to chip into the conversation, but it's not his deck we're talking about. But I will side with Sprouticus on the point that I too get peeved when only a corner, sliver, macro, crop section, blurry picture is shown of a deck. Show us plenty for crying out loud. There's nothing more irritating than Daniel Madison going full Michael Bay on the trailers but fails to show the flipping product for instance.
Specially on a deck that's already been printed. I can understand on a work in progress where you don't want ideas to be stolen or whatever.

Re: MoonShine
I think it's more like getting to know the deck. Have to wait for it. First comes the greeting. Then comes the wink. Then comes the tease. It won't be long before we see some full frontal. Then, it's time to pay to play.
With a six deck series it could be over exciting if they just hit us with it all at once. Black friday isn't too far off. We'll see it all soon.

Haha so far, we have seen an Absinthe, a Whisky, a Rum, a Vodka, and a Moonshine. If that last deck is also part of the prohibition series, my money is on Gin.

Okay, so if it's the Prohibition series, there should at least be the American standard...Bourbon. Unless Whisky was meant to be Whiskey, in which case, we're good.th4mo wrote:...or tequila!volantangel wrote:Haha so far, we have seen an Absinthe, a Whisky, a Rum, a Vodka, and a Moonshine. It's supposed to frustrate... and build interest. It's been used in marketing forever. It's marketing foreplay. This is not unlike the Godzilla marketing and trailers. They only let you see little bits.
If it's too loud.... you're too old!
