I like the front of the box, but that's all... 4 index is okay for me, but poorly done and what is the excuse... minimal deck with probably maximum price

I like the tropical-ish theme but I'm really hoping for a -minimal- price point as well. I don't care how "rare" they might be.

$11.95 ...okay around $10 bucks when the 15% goes off thanks to the halloween15 code.
i was tempted but then thought about it and discarded the idea of ordering two.
black friday and the holiday season is near so better save my pennies for those sales

Don't think it's worth busting a hump getting one either. Has kind of a cheap look. Those Uni-color courts- was there a sale on red ink? Here again, so many superb decks out today one can afford to be choosy.

It's never working on TBC after you use a coupon code, it's bug that was around for years

By the way, the coupon code is usable once per account, maybe they should have mentionned this.

Twice I got as far as entering my credit card information but I just couldn't pull the trigger. Doesn't TBC usually have good Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales anyway? I guess I'll wait till then.

Yeah, I was going to ask Kevin (from TBC) about that. I work with Malibu Rum everyday for my day job, so the first thing I thought of when I saw the Deck was Malibu.

The Logo that Sparks posted is Malibu's old version. They haven't used it in quite a few years, so they probably wouldn't care much. Malibu's new Logo almost has a 70's retro vibe to it (attached).

Thats identical down to the leaves. In my book, thats not inspiration, thats ripoff, old logo or not.

I have to admit that did a double take when I saw the promo pics. The white and red panels of the tuck case reminded me of my own decks.

Hey Guys,

I asked Kevin about it this morning. They had no idea of any resemblance to the Malibu Logo.

I found this Stock Image on Shutterstock (http://www.shutterstock.com/pic.mhtml?i ... 190&src=id" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).
It looks like Edo bought the Stock Image and used it in the design. I'm guessing he had no idea of the Malibu Logo either.

I doubt that the Malibu lawyers would care enough about a small 1,000 Deck printing. Especially with an image that is similar to their OLD Logo, that is also available to anyone on a major Stock Image site.

Well, logo or not, going to a stock image website and picking one isn't the way to go when creating a deck IMO. Not that I would have bought it if it HAD been an original graphic, but this just shows how little effort go into making some decks (<must resist making comparison to a certain ebay seller>) and it's not exactly good PR for the people who made it.

With all due respect Randall, Malibu bottle is one of the most distinguishable alcool bottle there is.
Trying to cover for Edo Huang here is insulting, of course Malibu lawyers won't do a thing, I think they would even judge that this deck is beneficial for them (free marketing weeeee!).
Also, I'm sure you noticed that the vector image on shutterstock lacks colors, so if Edo Huang did but this design and colored it, do you really think that EXACTLY matching the old malibu logo is a coincidence? Please ...
