Hi Everyone,

I ended up getting two bricks of these and just received them last night. I am pretty new to the site and have never sold anything through it but if anyone is interested in some decks send me a pm. I am located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada but would find a reasonable way to ship these with padded envelopes. They seem like a pretty nice deck in person.

Never got any response to either of my emails. Not buying any DB products now or in the future. Must be nice to know that you have enough business to ignore past and potential customers.

I recall seeing black backs with a gold gator on the tuck. If it's real, when will it be released?

I sold this guy decks at cost. He said one deck was damaged in shipping. I sent him a replacement deck along with a prepaid envelope to ship the damaged deck back to me since I wanted it back. I could use it myself. I wasn't making any money on these sales so I wasn't going to recoup the cost in my sales. Well he never returned the deck nor was the prepaid envelope returned. He hasn't returned my messages or emails. If you see this guy pop up somewhere, let me know.

I've had that happen DeMagic, now my policy is the other way around, damaged deck comes back first and then I'll replace it. If they don't like that they can keep the damaged deck. With having a good reputation in the community it should make that request reasonable, I'll even refund their shipping, but I need the damaged deck back 1st. ;)

Im new to collecting, I got sold on these from 52kards deck review and picked up a brick which arrived today. Bought off ebay for £90 all in which Im pretty pleased with as UK prices for cards seem to be universally inflated (makes sense). If anyone UK based wants to trade green for black (or offers) shoot me a msg.

I believe I found 3 reveals so far....
2 on the tuck and one on a card face. I haven't found any on the back design.... yet!

Click the pics for hi-res

2 of Clubs
Location: Bottom of the Ace of Spades, hidden in the artwork.

Image

5 of Hearts
Location: Outside of tuck flap, also hidden in the artwork.

Image

6 of Hearts
Location: Inside of the tuck flap, hidden in the "clock".
One arrow points to 2000 on the innermost ring.
One arrow points to 14 on the outermost ring (although the 14 is in shadow in this pic, sorry).
Both combined is 2014, the year of release.

There is a third arrow that points to a little heart on the middle ring. The heart is located where the Roman numeral VI should be. So, I call it 6 of Hearts.

Wow, great eye! Being so hidden, I wonder if they're considered reveals and not just Easter eggs?

They're nice aren't they? I'm looking forward to picking up a black deck. I do like Bee Casino stock.

I wouldn't neccesarily say they are inflated UK prices (though I note you did say in brackets it makes sense so it's important to note this is not a criticism of your comment) it's simply that it would be impossible for a UK business to be able to retail for the same price.
as they were listed in the US.

After the shipping cost, customs and dutyit stands to reason that a typical $6.95 deck would be around £7.49 in the UK. It's a shame, but the best example I can give you is if the revervse took place, and a UK deck was available in the US it would end up costing US folk more, it just happens the majority of decks are coming out of the US.

Oh yeah, as you say I understand the price hike for supplying it in the UK, I mean just looking at the international shipping costs on David Blaines website gives an idea of what we are dealing with! Having said that I did read, possibly on this very site, that DB seems to charge crazy shipping costs even to US residents but there we go. I think the favourable conversion rate of USD to GBP might make them seem that little bit moresteeply priced here in the UK to me. Either way, I'm very happy with this brick to begin my small collection, now I just need to decide how many decks I want to hold on to :D

I posted earlier about the non-return of a damaged Green Gatorback deck that I sold and shipped to MNathan. The matter has been resolved. Unfortunately, MNathan had some serious medical issues that kept him from normal activities. When he finally came back to the forum and I sent him a message, he responded right away and all is well.
