My vote is our own design killer, Lorenzo being the artist. It's a bit simpler than most of his designs, but the midsection of that king is straight up his alley. Not to mention the whole back design and how many other card designers incorporate Latin phrases into their designs that have a deeper meaning than just something like E Pluribus Unum?


Then there's his rather tongue in cheek response...

My money is on Jackson. The similarities are too many to chalk them up to coincidence. Just the sword wielding hand is pretty compelling. And the style of the nose.
I don't really see it as being Lorenzo's style.
Plus Chad is in on it.
