eagle eye, there. the heart is off center to avoid encroaching on the border of the king of hearts card, and it'll be a standard border theme for all the non-ace courts. the prevailing theme is that of a page of an ancient manuscript, so there's a certain off-kilter feel in how the indice can stand out, just as the first letter of an old manuscript page tends to be overly ornate. we figure as long as the aces are consistent with each other and the rest of the courts are consistent with each other, then the design itself is consistent. but if enough backers point it out and are unhappy with it, then it'll need to be tweaked for sure. thanks for the feedback!

But I also posted the following in the Comments on Kickstarter:

Hey Edgy Brothers, I'm backing you again, but I'd like for you to change part of your deck descriptions.

There's no such thing as a "Bicycle Unbranded" deck. Your cards are only Bicycle Branded when you pay the extra fees to use their brand.

If you don't pay to have a Bicycle Branded deck, but you have your cards printed by the United States Playing Card Company (USPCC), then they are just USPCC printed cards; and NOT Bicycle anything.

You might also spell out the card stock your decks will be printed on by the USPCC.

But Please remove the Bicycle reference!

The little tweak i dont like is how the heart pip below the K is merged with the border, moving it off to the side makes the pip much clearer, alternatively you could extend the box which houses the K to include the heart pip and have it centered. But the option you have now is clearly the least desirable.

But all in all, brilliant looking cards !

Main reason I grabbed the EB4 was b/c I missed the EB2. It is a good deal though, $9 per deck. The brick is more than that, not much but it is.

My thoughts exactly. I had a brainstorm. (No wisecracks about hoping I didn't hurt myself ) I am going to sponsor my first "nECrO's Promote That Deck" contest. Up for grabs is a pair of Dia De Los Muertos decks. One Black and one Painted. The rules are below. If I over looked anything let me know.

1. Promote the Necromancy deck in anyway you like.
2. All promotion efforts must be submitted to Twitter at #promotenecromancy
3. A suitable tie breaker will be devised if/when needed
4. Originality, quality and quantity all count.

PS... Finally some love for International collectors. Shipping IS included.

Quite frankly, the Elemental deck was the one I preferred, of the two.

I felt the same way and still do. There's a lot to like about the necromancy deck. While I've never particularly been a fan of the cartoony decks myself, some exceptions always apply, it's the number cards that I find I like the look of. They've grown on me over time, now I'm pretty excited to see this printed.

Alright, I'll be completely honest. I want to poke the Necromancy decks Jack of Diamonds in the tummy and see him giggle and cackle in spooky delight. Anyone know why he's got a foot?
