Good news: I received the Ornate decks in excellent condition; they were securely packed in bubble wrap + box and everything came out great.

Bad news: I received 7 decks out of a total of 10. Even logged in to Backerkit to make sure I wasn't mistaken. It feels so incomplete :|

Yeah, I'm also missing a black unbranded deck and had to double check the pledge amount. No sign of the black brick box either, so if that was shipped separately but at the same time as the others it SHOULD have gotten here first. Although I have seen an uncut tube arrive several days before a single deck package, so I guess there's still hope.

HOLY ****** , 7 pounds only for the best deck in the world from Paul JP cards. If i knew that i would buy from him at least a brick WITH FREE DAMN SHIPPING AND ABOVE THAT SOME LOYAL POINTS FOR EVEN MORE CHEAP PRICE !!!!!!!!!! But it will cost me now like 15$/deck becouse of shipping and customs!!! I want now to cancel my order from hopc.. but this is no good and can't do that... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
How is this possible, his own deck cost more...
I swear i will go to customs office i will grab my package and run run run no paying s hit :D So far i can only pray HOPC typed lower value... or at least without shipping.
Good Job Paul.
I did calculation and the pain is real. I payed like 30-35$ more for a brick above his price: (((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((

Yes, it's a disturbing trend that you can often get decks far below KS price (and without risk) in the aftermarket. Note that JP is only selling the standard white Ornates, not the Black ones or the Bike branded.

The good news is that you are unlikely to pay much in customs.. the delcared value for my 1 1/2 bricks was US$26.

Ace of Hearts, I'm assuming your Brick from HOPC had some White Bicycle Decks? Only the White Unbranded Decks were available to resellers at wholesale prices - for large quantities. Plus, they were the very last orders shipped out during fulfillment. The resellers are able to price the Unbranded White Decks at whatever price they are able to afford (i.e. free Shipping).

It sounds like your JP loyalty points accounted for some of the lower costs. We definitely couldn't foresee that!

Thanks, Randy

Thanks for the reply, no worries. I realise that i don't have enough money in my cart to order right now that many decks anyway, and by tomorrow that price probably will go up, becouse is for first 50 decks only.
btw without LP im in with 22$-25$ above for brick and no, only White Unbranded brick is in my order. Thanks for the incredible deck you created, Randy.

Customs holds my order and this time they want to know how much i paid for. It's my first time ordering from hopc so I can show them lower value, but i would be screwed if inside the box that they opened there is document with the actual cost. So my question is did you guys find any facture with the exact amount you paid for or the cost is not shown like Ellusionist do?

It's me again, sorry for multipost - both orders are right here next to me. Everything is perfect. Beautiful looking brick box with signature embossing, all the decks are in perfect condition, absolutely amazing look and feel. My #1 deck probably. This is a game changing deck.

Just to clear this up, the £6.99 was a special price for he first 50 decks only. We sacrificed margin for the early sales as a thank you to an incredibly loyal base of customers, without whom we wouldn't exist - corny but true. The White ORNATEs were the deck most people were asking about behind LUXX and the Egytian Legends so we figured it was a good deck to do it on, along with the Egyptian Legends (which should finally be with us next week). Our customers also love Randy's work so it was nice to be able to offer this.

Strag, it wouldn't normally happen and I wouldn't put it with the trend, I doubt it will happen elsewhere and we probably won't be doing it very often either. As a footnote the Bicycle and Obsidians are more expensive, as you guessed.

Finally - how beautiful are these decks? The ORNATEs as a series are easily my personal favourite.
