I'm sure that's just because they had a warm light in the room, makes it look yellower. Some pictures I took of Aurum make the foil look silver or black when it is very obviously gold in person.
Somehow we all knew that those puppies will be released on Black Friday!
It´s crazy that they are ready to go since 4 months or so right?
The one lucky guy who had received them that early (together with the black label WL) could open up his one and post pictures
You need to pick up some original Split Spades and the Split Spades Lions then. Probably among the best custom decks ever produced. Blaine kinda cheapened his line with the White Lions series so you're not missing much there....
Nobody knows about the handling, it can be "white lions series B bad" for all we know :s

What's with all this white lions bashing? Series A was the best handling deck to come out of the Kentucky factory when they were released. When I thought we'd never get Ohio quality decks again, they gave me hope for the future.
I was gonna say something about the design as well, but that's too subjective. Though you can't really call them ugly (not in the recent kickstarter sense anyway).
I'm not bashing the white lions, I'm only saying the handling of the series B was bad, I do love the look though.
Peace.

This is just awesome! You have to love David Blaine, it's not just a cash grab for him. The Split Spades will continue to be the best value in cardistry. A custom deck with awesome design, handling, no excessive hype, and a fair price that won't break the bank. Oh, and a website that doesn't crash on you! Everyone who designs and sells custom decks should learn from Blaine's example!

When I started through the checkout there was $21.95 shipping internationally for a brick, by the time I actually got to the end of the process it was $50+.... (=abandoned cart )
I put an order through to Canada with shipping at $17.95 for 12 decks. When I try to create an order again the shipping has increased to $37.95 so they have increased it in the last 45 minutes.
The Split Spades Silvers are the cheapest cards that we are going to sell. Due to our low price, there are no refunds or exchanges.
Yeah, I'm not going to buy them anymore. It sounds like the decks are poor quality and they don't stand behind them.
Years ago they had a summer sale on the original Split Spades Lions and were blowing them out for about $2.75 a deck if you bought them by the brick, and they had the same disclaimer then where they said due to the low price they weren't going to refund or exchange any orders. I don't think this has anything to do with the quality of the cards or standing behind their product.
