Ah, for the general public without a weight scale, that would be true. For certain you're going to pay more for "First Class" than for the Priority Mail any more, as the USPS pushed "First Class" out around the middle of last year. It's the same thing looking up prices on their website: they don't show anything except the "flat rate" prices - at all, so I guess the bottom line is that unless you're a commercial shipper - those rates are the best you can get.
