Damn Kickstarter app!

I was refreshing the search for "Seasons" and it didn't show anything. Had to search for Alexander Chin. :)

Alex, are your add-on prices off? TO add a 4 deck legacy box is $100, but the pledge tier is $105...further the add-on claims signed while the pledge tier does not.

Or does the inclusion of a 4 deck box in the tier include additional decks? I'm confused.

I think the tiered one includes 1 each regular and limited, but the add-on is 2 ea of the regular.

The add-on price is for the box and 4 standard decks. For only $5 more you can have the limited edition decks. I should have clarified this a bit more. The decks are signed as well.

Man, pledged for the LB1 brick, then noticed how awesome the KS2 set was. But when I tried to switch over, it sold out. This is already 25% funded in just 20 minutes!

I'm in for a KS2. That box just looks too good to pass up and I prefer two of each for my collection.

I had originally framed the gold tiers to be without boxes and made a typo. The KS2 essentially has a free 4-deck Legacy box in that tier. It's a great bonus for people who have it but I hope people don't use it as a comparison too much for future tiers :P

Well, I hope someone drops one! I'm sure someone will get on you about it in the future, but meh - you're straight about it being a mistake so oh well!

Was in for an LS1 at first, but then I realized I don't need a box nor a set of tuckswaps (really wanted them though!). Two pairs will do it for me. I'm not poor, but I would be very soon if I didn't make realizations like these :(

So we didn't get as many entries as I hoped, but here are the participants in the Seasons pool bet for how fast the Seasons deck hits its funding goal of $35K:

Volantangel's prediction = 8 hours (he must feel pretty confident about the Seasons decks)

Sinjin7's prediction = 12 hours (that's how fast the first set sold out)

Jock1971's prediction = 16 hours, 40 minutes (unusually specific...)

Eoghann's prediction = 18 hours (the winner if Seasons isn't funded in 17 hour and 1 minute)

Cosmicsecret's prediction = 24 hours (but he made this prediction before the official pool bet, is he still in?)

If I missed anyone and their prediction, please let me know. :)

Yeah it was kind of a spur of the moment thing. Had not realized how soon the launch date was. If we do a next one we'll make sure there's ample time. :)

And cosmicsecret is definitely in if he wants to participate.

What is different in the LE decks? Just a tuck box change? Upgraded stock? Metallic ink?

There is a tuck box change. It would make sense to have the "standard" decks not have metallic inks or embossing or foiling but I didn't want to take away from the foundation of the series. Since the first deck had all the works, it is very hard to upgrade the decks even further. So I took the approach of adding value to it by making it a limited 1,000 (which makes costs crazy high if printing with USPCC). But Seasons is my baby so I figured it would be good to go out with a bang. All the decks have all the stops.

The "LE decks" wrap differently than the original edition decks. They basically tile infinitely - whereas the other pair only tile back-to-back unless I am truly missing something. I went for the 2-2-2-2 w/4box set. Easy trade, same price ($175) as the 2-2-4-4 split split brick.

Alex's decks always have hauled, but as I remember it was over $11K in under an hour. Double that now, probably funded by morning.

I changed the subject on the OP and put the tracker in.

THIS. This is why you're awesome and why I jumped on this very quickly and will likely do some addons yet as well.

As usual I was working when all this transpired. Since I can't participate and win I will add some decks for the winner anyway. No big deal as I rarely win anyway.

The decks I am donating are .... a pair of Club Tattoos (One Orange and one blue) And a set of Bicycle Civil War Unlimited decks. :ugdance: :ugdance:

Good luck folks and just for giggles my guess WOULD have been 15.5 hours.

For anybody who somehow HASN'T jumped in yet and is cursing at this post above, you'll be happy to know Alexander posted an update today that more will open on Friday:
A lot of the tiers got picked up like hot cakes. As promised I will be opening more tiers in batches to maintain quantity control over the limited edition items especially the coveted gold boxes. There have been requests to have a tier of both a 4-deck Legacy Box and a Gold box. I expect this to be one of the next round of tiers. New tiers will open up Friday at 12:00 CST. I will send out an update Friday morning with the specifics to these new tiers.
