Got a package from a very generous friend in the UK.
I guess I need to get the decks that match these now huh?

I haven't given up hope!Eoghann wrote:Cool! Sucks we couldn't figure out who the blonde kid was.
Truly amazing find! It's so nice to see people actually paying more attention to the vintage and antique decks markets once again. I came from there exclusively until a year ago, and look at the mess I got myself in the last couple of days.DragonSoul wrote:Really excited about a couple of recent acquisitions. A 1933 Chicago World's Fair deck in fine shape (there's a smudge on the cellophane that showed up in the flash). The cards are still sealed and the gold gilded edges look great. Also, a double deck 1939 New York World's Fair set with a really nice silver foil box. Both decks are still sealed and have silver gilded edges.
I'm pretty sure it's not, but "Thanks for playing our game!"framegod wrote:The Blonde kid would be Dennis the Menace.
Could it be Richie rich?RSLancastr wrote:I haven't given up hope!Eoghann wrote:Cool! Sucks we couldn't figure out who the blonde kid was.
DtM was going to be my guess too. No idea of anyone else that looks like that.RSLancastr wrote:I'm pretty sure it's not, but "Thanks for playing our game!"framegod wrote:The Blonde kid would be Dennis the Menace.
Shame, a spring loaded one would be super cool.montecarlojoe wrote:No. If you look closely you can see it is concentric circles, not the spiral a spring would be.
StanKindLee wrote:I guess my days of playing card deck collecting has begun. I doubt I'll ever have a wall/room of pretty unopened tucks since I plan on opening the decks I get and using them for card playing and cardistry (yup - started down that road too). My first KS backed deck arrived today - Bicycle Elegance by CPC - the deck itself was not padded, but it was shipped in a padded envelope and arrived undamaged. I don't have a camera with me, or I'd include pics.

They call it rose gold but really the back is just a black and gold color, doesn't appear rosy at all to me. I didn't open the red pack, but between black and blue I gotta say I like the blue back much more.Eoghann wrote:Nice! So out of the three, which one would you recommend? I'm leaning towards the Rose gold. Both blue and red's colors don't seem to pop as much as Rose gold.
Two things at once? Surely you must be joking. I'm lucky if I can walk and breathe let alone chew bubble gum at the same time.MagikFingerz wrote:No pics of your perfect fan?
