I am a wordy person. Everybody knows that. I tend to pontificate WAY too much, no question.

It's a global community, half of the owners are in Singapore, Guam, Australia & The Philippines, two in central Europe. No matter what time we picked, it can't be convenient for everyone.

Future projects will be launched around noon here on every other Saturday. We went with 12:01 in order to easily keep up with the first 24 hours.

I just set the site to "open" - if you want to register now, go do it! (concise enough?)

Try to do emails with less than 200 words +/- 10%.

Mike,

Login via FB is broken. Login via LinkedIn is a broken link which leads back to CardLauncher; login via Twitter leads to maintenance but Twitter is not undergoing maintenance.

I guess the testers didn't test registration links.

He talked about it in the actual registration invite email, but yeah it would have been good to at least ACTUALLY disable it or at least have a new warning popup.
Please note that we have purposefully disabled "Social Media Logins" (i.e. Facebook or Twitter credentials) so we can gather all the information we require.

Mike - small potatoes compared to the launch, but easy fixes. Either way, you may want to make a note. The site needs a favicon so people can see the logo in open tabs or bookmarks/bars. The site also doesn't use page titles which will KILL you in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and make it harder for people to find you through that method.

Looking forward to tonight!!! :ugdance:

Just because everyone knows it doesn't make it a good thing. Also, the point of communication is to get the other person to "hear" you. If you are too wordy (and you often are as you know) then people just skip over it. I try to read every word in this forum but I'll admit that your posts are often skimmed because of length and/or relevancy of content.

On another note, you do not have to (and it's quite difficult to read) include the registered trademark symbol in all your copy. You can include a boilerplate disclaimer at the bottom of any text which is what 99% of companies do these days. Normally the registered trademarket symbol is used sparingly and only once.

This! The meta information such as page title and site description is quite important for SEO, so this should be looked into and fixed.

Mike, just registered. Thanks for opening up early. Hang in there. Most stressful period will be all the prelaunch timing/coordination. Looking forward to it.

I have been following for quite some time and I was just thinking of one thing that I would really like to see. I understand that it is a long way off on the horizon but being able to use my android to back projects. KS Currently only has an app for Apple. I would love to be able to back projects from my phone so I don’t have to sit in front of the computer. I am sorry if I missed this in an earlier post but I did honestly try and read all of them. Would also be nice if the app would update when new projects would come online.

Use your Android browser on Kickstarter.com... works just fine for backing projects - no app needed.

Venexianaaaa! Good vs Evilll! Two campaigns I'm very excited about. :)

I don't have the original Brimstones but the green ones look pretty cool. Think I'll shop around in there as well.
