I went ahead and got 4 each of the uncuts, if nothing else I'll punt them on eBay once they are all sold.

Go figure: the decks themselves: $43 a brick - if that gives you any idea of where their (USPCC) price-point is truly sitting. Obviously there's not losing money at that price.

$3.99 per deck, , but these decks aren't Club 808, just the uncut sheets are.

All Club 808 decks have been $5.99 until about a year ago and they went to $7.99 for the Club 808 decks.

Slept in and just put my order through. Only went for two of each uncut, save some dollars because of this little tidbit in the description. "Check back soon for sheets autographed by the artist."

heheheh - well, I'll take mine with me to the 52+Joker convention in October and I'm pretty certain they will come back with signatures. Maybe a few of those decks as well - couldn't hurt, eh?

I have gotten several requests from people with respect to getting some of the "52+J" decks Jackson is having done. I'll have to be honest and say I don't know how many will be available per person, but knowing the group I would suspect that I'll be able to get a few at least. Most of them are strictly vintage and antique deck collectors, and don't have a contemporary deck in their collection, but we're working on that. This year will be the best effort at influx of "new blood" into the membership, and a lot of people will be there that are deck artists we all know and love.

I'm hosting an entertainment suite along with Bill Kalush and Tom Dawson who all did the same, although I can't speak for them I feel certain we'll be having a lot of fun. Personally, I'm taking my 500-chip clay 14gram set along with 4 deck per night to be opened and used to play poker and blackjack. Some old (Watermelons, etc), some new (Fed52, Erik Mana decks, etc). Paul Carpenter and all will likely bring a few as well. I even tossed a 5-pack of Jerry's Nugget and old Bee dice in their, should be fun!

I'll go cross-post this in the 52+Joker convention thread.

I know I'd love to go, but a cross country trip for a few days on my own dime is out of the question right now, especially for a hobby that I spend too much on as it is. So I'll have to get the stuff that says it has autographs in the description (so long as USPCC doesn't forget they made that statement. I know, low blow but I couldn't resist it.)

But uh, if you're making a list of interested parties in that deck, throw my name on there would ya please?

Chach, you are #10 to ask, and I have no idea of how many Jackson will sell to one person, nor the price, but I figure it's likely to be around $20 given recent pricing and the knowledge that they are Expert PCC made and limited to 1000 (pretty sure, although not been stated that I know). We'll see. If I can pick up a few bricks I will do my best to be equitable and spread them around. I put you on the list behind the 7th, 8th and 9th person that have already asked today. I had a list of 6 this morning when I sent a note to Jackson asking about specifics.

Ugh, missed that. Oh well, I can always give the other one away or maybe resell on ebay. Then again, who knows what premium they will charge for the sig... $5 at most seems appropriate, but it will probably be $10-$20 more. Hoping I'm wrong cause would rather have a JR sig on mine as well.

You know they didn't really say, but all recent Club 808 uncuts have been very limited - only 100 sheets each, so I went crazy and bought 14 of them, 7 each. Whatever, I know that eventually I can easily get that $20 per out of them with no problem. It's interesting that the uncut market seems very stale right now, but I keep selling mine: just sold a Jules Verne, Red Artifice, Joker, Cigar X 2 in the past week. Somebody's still buying them.

7 of each when you're limited to 4 per person? Naughty naughty Mike. ;)

Jackson, do you have a quick time frame for the release of the limited edition, or is that further down the road?

My Limited Edition Civil War Decks are being finished this week and will most likely ship next week. I then will have to hand apply all of the numbered seals like on the HIVE decks. If all goes as planned they will available exclusively on my website for immediate delivery on either Aug 9th or 13th. Bicycle and I wanted coordinate our releases around the same time.

FYI: They will not be $3.99 per deck though DANG! thats a good price I already picked up some off the site.

Earlier I think the limit was 10 so that is how Mike got all those. The only mistake he did was not to keep the Espionage one hehehehe

Actually my wide and I both belong to Club 808 - nothing funny going on here. I suppose I could have gotten a couple more, but I figured 7 of each was plenty. Actually there is a hole in their system you can drive a truck through, which I have reported several times, but they haven't fixed it (yet). I don't think I should disclose it, but essentially you can buy twice what they say - with a little trickery. It's so simple that I'm surprised other people haven't figure it out, really. It won't let you put more than 4 in your cart - ever. If you have bought three uncuts, it won't you put more than 1 in there and if you try 4 it will pop up a box that says you have already gotten 3 and change it to a 1 for you. I seem to have found a way to get my pop up to say I've already gotten 7.

Talked to customer service today and brought up that same question. They kinda assume you want half and half when you buy like that unless specified.

Update: These are no longer in stock, but "more on the way" and will ship in 5-7 business days.

Also, Jackson mentioned that it's the best selling first day release:
Hey guys! Just got some really cool news form USPCC. The days sales are not even over yet and the Civil War Set is the best selling first day release in USPCC history.

They are supposed to be unlimited, and with sales like this, I doubt they'll limit them all of a sudden and stop their revenue / profit stream. It would hurt them too much to do so, like trying to stop mid-stream once you already started going to the bathroom.

I do wonder if they limits the number of uncut sheets pulled, because they're still available. If there were only 100 available like the other releases, I'd expect them to be long gone. I wonder if since this is an unlimited deck release they will be providing a higher amount.

Looks like there will be a limited edition of these decks from kings wild. After getting these decks for 3.99, i really doubt that i will shelf out 4-5 times (very likely dont you think?) its price for the limited ed.

It's like every deck they have sold except one, order 2 and you get one of each color, and 6 packs are 3+3, so two packs of 6 is a split brick, essentially.

Back when they released Amber Stag uncut sheets, they States only 100 of each in the future, but I have to agree that if they were the case they would be long gone. The fact that they state that they will have signed versions later leads me to believe that there are more, as does the pricing which is double any uncut they have ever sold. They cost them the same, obviously. The decks are only $41 a brick. Go figure.

It would've been smart for them to sell the decks separately! It does say if you order two, you'll get one of each color but what if someone wants two of the same color or if they order 3, they'll want two red and a blue. 3 blues. 2 blues and a red. Ya'll get what I'm saying.

Just received my uncut sheets and decks, and noticed something weird on the jokers. Do you think this is intentional? Doesn't seem like Jackson would want that look, it is weird that they dont flow with each other like his other jokers.

Its probably due to the cutting line, the cards match up once it is cut.

Volantangel is correct. If you pull the jokers out of a pack and place them on the uncut, you'll noticed the space in between them. I noticed it as well.

Yes all diptychs are done like this, there's extra material on the uncut sheet to compensate for the cutting head variance. A part of the art is drawn out where the cutter head could be so when matched up the cards look right. The UUSI Pagan uncut with the horse with extra legs is extra trippy.

Just got mine yesterday, along with Grotesque, and noticed something. It may be just in my head (or fingers), but the two feel a little different from each other. And they both feel different from previous USPCC decks. I know about the new paper, but it seems that the CW deck is much less "slippery" than previous decks. Grotesque is, as well, but a bit slicker that CW. I know some previous KS decks would practically fly out of my hands when trying to do fans, due to lack of grip (mine or the deck), but CW has a bit of grab to it. Is it just me, or that particular deck? I opened a blue one, I supposed I should try a red one and see if there's a difference.
At any rate, I think USPCC decks were starting to get a little too slick, and I hope this is an indication that they've figured that out.

And also, the art is pretty great. Jackson produced another winner

They did seem to be not as slick as some KS decks but I attribute that to the KS decks having an upgraded finish over the stock one that the civil war deck probably has. I did notice the deck CW deck is stiffer even though thinner than both the Origin & Grotesque, they measured in at .0120 while CW cards are .0110

What's odd though is when measuring the whole deck (52 cards). Grotesque & Origin came in at about .6065 while Civil War is .5900

Yet the civil war deck definitely feels stiffer than the other two, so I assume it's made from the new stock

Update:
On Tuesday the Limited Edition Civil War decks will be delivered. If all goes well with our quality control check I will be releasing 300 - 2 Deck sets this Saturday August 16th at 12 pm Central time. I will have a solid confirmation most likely by Wednesday.

The two deck sets will be $30 and you will receive both a LTD North Deck, sealed and numbered and a LTD South Deck, sealed and numbered. There are a total of 1500 sets produced however only around 900 will be sold on my website to the playing card community the rest I will be saving for my followers that are Coin and Currency collectors. Those decks will be available at the coin and paper money shows that I attend, like the one I am at now in Chicago.
They're cheaper than the Hive deck, too. Maybe all that "useless gripping and whining" wasn't so useless after all. Lol.

Apparently the upgrade in stock you saw for the XCM Passion deck (amongst others) is for custom decks, so it's possible there is a different "upgrade" for their own mass market decks?

It's possible, and it could be my imagination. But, they do feel less slick than my Grotesque. Jackson had mentioned one time that it came down to who was manning the stations on any particular day, so who knows.

At any rate, whatever the case may be, this particular deck feels quite nice

I stacked 54 cards of the Civil War deck (jokers included) next to 54 Cards of the XCM Passion deck, and they were equal thickness to each other. I tested for the stiffness of the deck and they seem to have comparable snap as well. I would say they're the same stock.
