Well, I'm not exactly on vacation here in Berlin, Mike. I'm doing a job (although a funny one). But even so, it's great to be in Berlin. As for the Dark Venexiana, I'll be posting some stuff soon. Stay tuned!

Well, yes - I am aware. Just over-simplifying as always, I suppose. He's hard at work with his nose to the grindstone getting the Dark Venexiana ready for the first looks - which you'll see here - as usual.

Venexiana Dark will be the last deck of the series that actually begun with "Timeless". After this, I'll move to something totally different regarding style, with a deck that I consider to be my most important until now. I say now because I have already done work on it, although it will be presented late Autumn. I don't know if you will agree with me but I think you won't be disappointed. My aim is to always improve my work and offer to collectors something really worth their money.

Okay, back to Venice now. In 2-3 days I'll pst the first pics of the deck.

I wouldn't have been here in Berlin if I wasn't given the opportunity to stay for free doing a light work.
But tbh, travel is part of my designing job. The information and inspiration I get is priceless. A whole deck that I'm planning to do was conceived during a travel and all the material I needed was found then.

Full-bleed whaaaat?

The back design doesn't scream "BRICK!!!" out to me but your strong points are in your fronts (courts, Aces, numbers, etc). It's pretty reminiscent of vintage floral patterns like wallpaper. But I'll have to see the whole package before I throw my wallet at you. Again. $_$

Ace looks sick. Might be a print I want to get.

Yes. And by that I mean you should extend the back design to cover the side of the deck as well

I have really high hopes for this deck. I'm picturing it'll be characters from Venice's seedy underbelly. Thieves, assassins, courtesans..ooh the possibilities.

Either way I'm certain Lotrek will not disappoint!
