Love Art Playing Cards
So I stumbled on this on instagram and it immediately caught my attention because of my love for Smoke&Mirrors decks. It looks like someone worked with Si Scott again on a new deck of cards (or maybe it's not new I just haven't seen it before). Does anyone know anything about these?

Re: Love Art Playing Cards
UPDATE: The side of the box says "The BOCOPO Playing Card Co." so I googled it and it seems like a rather new website. Also, they have some shots of a different deck on there but nothing about this one.
Here's the link: http://bocopoart.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
EDIT: Here's their Facebook page, they seem to be a really new company. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Bocopocom/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Love Art Playing Cards
If I'm not wrong these would be released in the Chinese market and not the us market. It's to commemorate the Chinese valentines. I recall seeing a price somewhere but it's not cheap, somewhere in the ballpark of $40 a pair.

Depending on the back design, I might even consider getting some, just because Si Scott did itvolantangel wrote:If I'm not wrong these would be released in the Chinese market and not the us market. Haha fanboy detected !!!! I honestly think it might be a little hard to get hold off, if I see a link I'll pass it on to you mirror
While I don't mind the illustration on the front of the box, I think the back side of the tuck with the words is just not aesthetically pleasing.

Re: Love Art Playing Cards
There are more pictures at http://love.youthwant.com.tw/4/book_rea ... w.facebook
So it's 160 rmb for preorder and 238 at launch for a pair.
Only 288 sets available, so that and the tuckbox leads me to think that these might be done at Mpc !

Re: Love Art Playing Cards
I doubt it. 288 is the same number that Aloys usually has "available". The rest is likely wholesaled or kept for later (or both).volantangel wrote:There are more pictures at http://love.youthwant.com.tw/4/book_rea ... w.facebook

Re: Love Art Playing Cards
I like the look of the deck and side by side in a shelf -> worth the addition to my collection.
It would be nice to know the printer and the production numbers.
The other Templar deck looks great as well
looking forward for more infos about those decks! Great find mirror & Kai

you're right dentyne. the deck was printed by uspcc which is confirmed by the seller who's also the exclusive agency in mainland china. as far as i know only 288 sets will be available for preorder via epcs e-store on taobao (an ebay-like platform owned by alibaba) in china market. preorder opens 8pm this Friday Beijing time. btw i'm from china.Dentyne wrote:According to the 2 chinese sites.....:

I'm down for two sets of these and a set of their Templars when their store opens. Is there an easy way for a guy in the states to snag these?

Don't you resell enough overpriced decks? Let the collectors get their hands on those that are available, go resell something else.PlayingCardz wrote:Did you guys find how foreigners can to order some?

Re: Love Art Playing Cards
In many cases with these Asian decks you're better off waiting until they hit EBay but not buying immediately when prices are inflated. If they are printing 2,500 the price should go down once they get into circulation and sellers have to compete among themselves.halcyondaze wrote:Also interested in these... there was one but literally there isn't at the moment. I'm in a group chat on QQ(a popular instant messenger in China) where many collectors and flourishers exchange thoughts and ideas. the exlusive seller of this deck is there as well. I'll post the preorder link later.volantangel wrote:Hey i understand that there is a forum similar to this one in china, where do i sign up ?whoshineleon wrote:you're right dentyne. the deck was printed by uspcc which is confirmed by the seller who's also the exclusive agency in mainland china. as far as i know only 288 sets will be available for preorder via epcs e-store on taobao (an ebay-like platform owned by alibaba) in china market. preorder opens 8pm this Friday Beijing time. btw i'm from china.Dentyne wrote:According to the 2 chinese sites.....:

I have a few sellers I deal with on ebay that usually have all of these decks. I got all my quality decks from them in the past with no issues. I might wait to see if they get these
