Congrats to Widdee for your 666th post, haha.
I think these decks set a precedent for what people can do with tuckboxes as displays of art. Dale will be the reason why I set up a display case/shelf for my decks. So glad I jumped on this when I first joined the hobby!

What a great project to cut your teeth on, mercy. After all the brouhaha of great decks that have been hitting the market this one should overshadow any of them. This is the new definition of "over the top."

I can't tell you how much I am kicking myself for not getting into collecting earlier. I almost ordered the whole package via the add on page but I realized Dale was not taking new orders to focus on his backers. The add on page was a glitch and I have too much integrity (and respect for Dale) to try and "sneak" an order in. I am just hoping to get this package. Maybe Dale will have a contest after the backers are taken care of. Here to hoping....

Got confirmation yesterday that the decks are done at USPCC and are ready to ship to me in Vegas.
Hopefully they should arrive sometime next week or the middle of the following week.
Once they arrive we will start shipping them out to you patient folks....! We are close to the finish line people.....
Regards,
Dale.

Very nice, Dale! I can't wait to have my decks in hand! Patience is a virtue, but sometimes it can be a pain in the butt! I know that you went through well to get these made.dalemathis wrote:Got confirmation yesterday that the decks are done at USPCC and are ready to ship to me in Vegas.

Did anyone else get a backerkit invite? I was thinking about.grabbing a deck through. Looks like the backerkit is about to end.

BackerKit locked down months ago. If you're not a backer and looking to get your hands on these decks, Dale mentioned that he may have some leftovers left for sale after he fulfills the KS pledges, and also a new design:Cbkimble wrote:Did anyone else get a backerkit invite? dalemathis wrote:Hang in there bud, I had to print 5000 of these decks from USPCC. Out of the 5000, 2500 were designed specifically for the KS campaign. The other 2500 will have a different Metal Mechanism design that separates it from the other.
Also, keep in mind that there were many credit card cancellations and insufficient funds so there are still decks available from the KS campaign. Those will be up for grabs as well but I need to fulfill my obligations with the KS backers first. When the dust settles we will see whats left over and put them out there for purchase.
Peace,
Dale.

Re: "World's First 3D Metal and Mechanized Playing Cards" Li
There was an issue with Backerkit or my lack of knowledge that allowed folks to come in after the campaign and sign up but was not allowed to purchase anything but there were a few who did through Add On's. I was not aware of this until after the fact. So some folks who signed up in Backerkit but was not able to buy into the campaign got the most recent eblast in Backerkit notification. Unfortunately you wont be able to come in at this time and get decks but you will be able to buy decks if some are left over after the campaign through my web site. Sorry for the confusion.Cbkimble wrote:Did anyone else get a backerkit invite? I was thinking about.grabbing a deck through. Looks like the backerkit is about to end.

I second that. Please let us know if any of the stuff becomes available to grab. It would be cool if I could have got into the full, lit frame and deck, but, I would love to get just a deck.halcyondaze wrote:Just saw some pictures of the deck completed and, wow...now I need to just keep an eye on dale's site and hope to score a deck there.

Re: "World's First 3D Metal and Mechanized Playing Cards" Li
So let's analyzed what $1 gets you today besides a cheeseburger at McDonalds. Yes the decks and dice finally came in woohooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! I know the frame is still being built and the book will be forthcoming but what beautiful decks. Dale my friend again a million thanks for such wonderful pieces of art. I will cherish these decks for a long time.
So I received 4 different decks and 4 dice. Each deck as you all know come in their own beautiful enclosed case and the first 3 pics are of the case with the deck in it, top bottom and side
So on to each deck now. I am not the best photo taker so I tried each deck with a white background and a dark background. It's hard to do justice to these beautiful decks but here it is
This deck is the silver deck without gold embellishment signed with Amethyst/Sapphire full set of crystals
This next deck is the silver deck with gold embellishment signed with Jet hematite full set of crystals
On to the prized possession, the $500 Stainless Steel Bronze Fusion with 24K gold Plated Gears, with signature and Jet hematite full set crystals
And finally the Black deck with Light Siam full set crystals
The dice are as follows from left to right as they appear in the pic: one titanium, one brass, one stainless steel and one copper all with Clear crystals
All in all that was quite the bang for the buck.... Once I get the frame I will hang it and make a little video. Dale mentioned that my frame should be the first to go out so I cannot wait
That's it

@dale - I wish that you become the impossible bottle with a deck of cards. I'm sure if you and JR (Jackson Robison) I'm only doing this once; hooked up you can come up with something amazing for card collectors. He is playing with tuck boxes right now as we speak...
