New deck from Alex Chin, the designer of the Seasons Seronda/Primavera Set. You can view those here: http://www.seasonsplayingcards.com/playing-cards.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;Cbkimble wrote:???
It is "the seasons" so I'm pretty sure he won't leave it at just 3 of the 4.wahl0108 wrote:I'm excited he's "back." Will it be another set though because winter isn't mentioned?
We collect playing cards, we all need professiinal help. Lol.Encarded wrote:

This set should be on every collectors shelf. I dare say that if you aren't interested in these, your perspective is severely skewed and you probably need professional help.
Wise choice. Platinum is great.Cbkimble wrote:I'm still new. I had heard of them but was unaware of the name "seasons". I checked out the site and picked up a set.

EDIT: There are a few 1st series set on ebay for about $35 a set

You can also get just the Primavera by itself - http://www.seasonsplayingcards.com/play ... eries.html
I couldn't agree more. I have an open set and a signed set that is among my most prized decks. The collector in me wishes he would do more decks because his work is beautiful... My wallet is glad he doesn't! I am currently saving to get a set of Seronda and Primavera canvas prints.sinjin7 wrote:Alex started the iconic Seasons series with Primavera and Seronda (Spring & Autumn) and now he's going to finish with Summer & Winter. For me, the Seasons decks were the first ultra high-end custom playing cards in the industry and is still in my top three all-time favorite decks. This is an absolute automatic must buy for me and becomes my most anticipated deck now, ahead of the Turtleback Tallys, Hive, or even Uusi's 6th and final deck.
Agree with all you said, Sinjin. The original Seasons have gotten lost in the current deck wars but they have never been beaten for sheer class. They are timeless.sinjin7 wrote:Alex started the iconic Seasons series with Primavera and Seronda (Spring & Autumn) and now he's going to finish with Summer & Winter. Alex and I chatted for about 1/2 hours yesterday using Facebook "Messenger" and he is really getting ready to enjoy the heck out of this! He's one of my fellow 52+Joker members, so I hope along with Jackson and Paul Carpenter, Randy Butterfield and several others we will make a BIG difference in the group's complexion overall. It's always been an "old man's club" - just stating fact. This year is the second sincere run at making a new generation of card collectors, and I already know this is going to work! I've got a suite, Tom has a suite, Bill Kalush has a suite (I think - need to cross-check my facts) and we're all going to be hosting things, like every night I'll have poker & blackjack with two different decks every night opened. Just something fun to do and anyone is welcome to bring one of their favorite decks to play one night.JPMiddleton wrote:The Platinum and Gold Seasons are some of the most beautiful decks I own (along with the Sapphire/Scarlet Ornates, Aurum Sovereign & White Golds) Absolutely can't wait....
