I usually pledge first and then take time and review project. If I get out I will let you know so that you can snatch my $3 pledgeMagikFingerz wrote:Would've taken one for 3$, don't want it for anything above.
Same for me.MagikFingerz wrote:Would've taken one for 3$, don't want it for anything above.
Thanks, Pierre, appreciate it. Though why you would back out is beyond me, any deck for $3 is a bargainbadpete69 wrote:I usually pledge first and then take time and review project. You have to pay customs on everything? I thought most countries had a maximum value which means you have to pay customs if the total value of the contents in a package exceeds it. For me it's about $33. Also, marking it as a gift raises that value 5-fold.Yashi wrote:I guess the creator is much of an artist since he didn't bother drawing up court cards. $3 seems like quite a deal though but then I'd have to pay for custom duties which would cost about $5.
I have to pay slightly above $1 for every package I receive. It's the minimum fee. I don't think playing cards falls in dutiable goods unless I order a "commercial" quantity from a single source. However, dutiable or not, the minimum fee is unavoidable. I guess it's payment for having them print and send the shipping notice to my place and other services. As of a month ago, they started charging for something they call "customs documentary stamp" or something like that which is an extra $3+ for both dutiable and non-dutiable goods which brings everything to about $5 for a single package. The slightly good news is that I only have to pay the $3+ once per visit to the post office. So if I received 4 international packages in a day, I only pay the $3+ fee once and $1 for every package.MagikFingerz wrote: You have to pay customs on everything? Ah, well that doesn't sound too bad then. Still a rip-off, perhaps, but at least it's a pretty small fee.Yashi wrote: I have to pay slightly above $1 for every package I receive. On a side note, I don't really know how many would qualify as "commercial quantity". I didn't have to pay anything above the minimum for my 8 sherlock decks.
