I want to get everyones input and ideas on how to better my project and make it a winning deck! My idea and intention is to create a deck of playing cards that can be used to play chess or a card game. I've thought about doing a smaller print run of maybe 1000 decks and offer the board as an add on only as to keep my goal down. Any other ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Chess Cards Relaunch
In terms of aesthetics, I think you have a good feel for capturing that feel of a board game...it almost feels vintage.
What I am unsure of are the two "chess crd" cards. It might seem better to just stick with four Jokers. I understand that's a bit unorthodox, but I think card handlers might get a kick out of it. However, I'm sure you are targeting a broader range with these playing cards, rather than just magicians.
The cards themselves are nicely designed, but perhaps the border could be thinned or lightened a little. The current bold state of them slightly detracts from the cards.
Sorry I'm not able to give you a too thorough input-- I am pretty new too.
Good luck and cheers,

Re: Chess Cards Relaunch
I see your dilemma. King is king, Queen is queen, Jack is bishop, knight is Joker, rook is Ace. Back of card is pawn. Are you sure that is the best way? Sell the cards first. The table would be a good add-on...
