If I had a pound for every time someone mentions their wallet on this forum, my own wallet would be bulging!
LOL. We do mention our finances a lot. I did quick search and there were 120 matches. I didn't say that to criticize the pricing structure (actually, I don't remember if that was ever discussed). I'd say most of the decks I spend on are worth the money - this one definitely is.

:D I'm very much laughing out loud at the 120 results for 'wallet' priceless. I understand and thank you for the kind words. Happy with £30 a deck then?

Do a search for "my wife/ girlfriend hate you" too.
Update - Tuck proofs have arrived and are looking great. Both tucks will have two foils on a matt black paper (blue/silver and brown/silver) - we're tweaking the brown a little to help it pop, but here's a peak at the blue tuck.
The plan is to offer 100 paired (seal numbers) twin sets for early customers also, as well as probably a free dealer coin for a brick purchase. All being well I should have some news soon as to when pre-orders will begin, but it's likely we'll do something similar to Paul did with Zenith and open them up pretty close to when they land.

That tuck is absolutely beautiful! Scared to see the prices, but looking forward to being able to order these and the coin of course. Imperial is my favorite coin so far, and this one looks like it's going to be high on my list as well. Great job!
Well, the pricing is always going to be hard to nail down for certain until they actually hit our shores - mainly because UK businesses have the joy of paying 20% customs and duty taxes to Her Majesties Customs & Revenue. We are aiming for something along these lines (very approximate, so please don't assume this will be the price)..
Single deck - £8.99 (approximately $15 USD at the moment)
Pair - £16.99 (approx $29 USD at the moment)
Mixed Brick - TBC
The dealer coin is definitely going to be £9.99 and we'll add one for free to brick purchases. We haven't thought about brick prices yet, but they will be better than singles and pairs for sure. Also, the first 100 or so pairs that will be available will be matching seal numbers.
It should be noted that right now the British Pound is very strong against the US Dollar so even a few months back this price would have been lower in USD than it is now., of course it might swing back the other way by the time of release, who knows.
Somebody cause a riot so I can but these!!
Kidding aside, I've been looking to buy a staple deck that's also aesthetically pleasing. If the mixed brick has a reasonable price then I might be in (because I also want a dealer coin )
It's approximate and depending on the actual figure we pay for customs, it could be lower - I'm just not prepared to be concrete about it until they come through the port. Customs charges are notoriously inconsistent.

I understand why the price is so high, I'm just not used to paying a premium on playing card shipping being a spoiled American collecter But I'll get over it- the decks are too nice.

Well.. our shipping prices are pretty good for North America and regardless of how much you buy, fully tracked and insured delivery to Canada or the US maxes out at £14.99! Pretty good (we think). http://jpplayingcards.co.uk/delivery-information" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (unless it includes a 36 deck storage box)
Quick update - they're due to be printed by the end of this month. Once they're definitely printed and on the way to us, we'll make a decision about pre-order release dates!
jerichoholic wrote:£8.99! Why not just partner with another shop in the US and sell to North American customers from there at a lower price? Would benefit all i'm sure.
A couple of reasons really- the first is that 95% of our customers are EU based, and the second is that even if we wholesales a few to a US store you'd still be paying the same price, as it would cost to send them over there and they'd need to make a profit too. Essentially the reverse of why theory11 decks are £7.50-£8.50 here and only $6.95 over there.
That's not to say if we were approached by a US store we'd say no, but it would certainly not make them cheaper. More than likely they would be more expensive than from us.
Finally, a date for pre-orders. This will only change if there are massive delays in getting the decks over to us - I don't particularly want people waiting too long for decks they've already paid for.
