I'm one of the new ones. Just got into card collecting, although I'm not really 'collecting' per se since I plan to use most of the decks I get. I just love the variety available. Outside of JR's Independence LE, this is the first deck that I plan to keep sealed since I missed the Gran Riserva. I've been lurking for a little while, since I found out about UC from some KS campaigns.

decided to stay up all night to make sure i got one, caught myself almost falling off the couch three times by the time it got to 3:30am, even got so bored with what was on tv ended up watching the muppets in space movie to keep myself awake.

good thing Mike released it an hour earlier, i probably would not have made it through to 5am.

I thought I had missed out on this. Had my alarm set and ready to go and then it never went off. I set it for AM instead of PM! I wanted a sub 100 number and then I didn't think I was going to get one at all and have to wait until the KS because I was sure it was sold out because it had been live for a good 2 1/2 hours by the time I realized what had happened. To my surprise, not only did they not sell out yet but I also got a number I'm completely stoked about.

Thank you Mike and Lotrek for offering this here on the UC and looking forward to trying to get another on KS!

Please just complete the form and authorize payment again, and both units will be shipped together.
Because of the way I setup the inventory tracker, I can't change the code: want 2? Use it twice...

Nope, the numbers I have are strictly odd and ascending until I hit 199. I had to agree to that to get UC a pre-sale at all, since Lotrek knew that I would suck up all the 'good' numbers and he wouldn't have any low numbers at all for the UnitedCardists.com KS campaign next week. I _DO_ have 10 even-numbered decks at the high end of the sequence because obviously, there aren't 90 odd numbers between 35 and 199. There are 10 even numbered decks that I can sell on request, or if not they will be the last 10 sold (only if I sell all 80 odd-numbered decks that I have. Now, if you did the math you came out with 82 'odd' decks, and the reason that I only have 80 is that when we approached a couple of key industry partners, they bought a total of 3 decks and Lotrek wouldn't sell any of the single-digit decks, in fact didn't want to sell any 2-digit decks, but he agreed to sell #51, #52 & #53 to them. That's why I only have 80: 51 & 53 are missing from the series - if you look at the numbers I have assigned, I skipped over those two (and noted why).

Very soon, now. Lotrek has seen pictures, and the tuck as well, and they should have been assembled today, and finished Monday, we're thinking. Outbound shipping to the fulfillment center is scheduled for the 2nd (or 3rd) which means they should be at Lake Michigan Mailers and hopefully headed out to backers rewards shortly thereafter. Since I don't have the exact details, I will defer to him to add any more specifics.

Those UC2014/Grotesque decks, uncut sheets and coins should be "hitting the streets" after what seems like an eternity in the queues at USPCC.

AH, so they backtracked on the commitment to get them shipped on the 2nd or 3rd? Darn - sorry, I didn't think it was 'inside information'. In any case, we're getting awfully darned close at this point after waiting what seems like forever to get these printed. I'm kind of thinking that next year might be different? Like maybe a UC-exclusive Chromografix deck as an add-on only available here, perhaps? Of course I'm still working on perfecting the technology as well as the process itself, but - it will happen! I wanted it to happen the day CardLauncher 'took off', but it's looking more and more like it will be sometime around the holiday season or even next calendar year at this point. I'm working on getting a 330gsm - 350gsm bond (paper) that is good enough to show the details that are created when we print something that outrageous - and it will come as well, but it's a tough road to ride. It's not like I don't have a few things to do already... We'll get there, promise!

It would be really nice to have the UC2015 Annual Deck be the first Chromografix deck, beyond the ones that are made to physically test the paper stock and procedure / technology to see what I can do (and what I can't). I'm thinking about doing a LE of 250 decks as a "proving ground" to show what it takes and how difficult it is for the factory as well. I am sure that we'll see a high defect/cull rate on the very first time we do it no matter how well thought out the process is, it's just too new and never been done.
