just ordered one of the LE - gilded decks from their website, was tempted to buy 1 of each, but my bank account complained, as i want a couple of the Gold Venexiana decks as well, so budget budget budget

Unless you are talking about one of the four Pagan gilded decks that were remaining from the KS project. All the other gilded decks do not go on sale until the end of July

they are available, go into the normal pagan decks and in the pull down menu you can select the gilded decks they are $125 each

the gilded pagan decks i meant, which is what the picture was showing.

yes i wanted them when they released them on KS, but never got a chance to back for them, thought i had missed out completely, and had way too much money linked to other projects, so i don't mind paying more for the LE version this time.

With Hot Cakes i got the gilded version, and will certainly keep my eye out for the gilded versions of the our UUSI decks as they are among my favourite.

I think of all the decks Uusi put out so far, the Pagan decks look the best with the gold gilding. When they come out with the Blue Bloods gilded decks, I hope they do it in silver instead of gold. I loved that video Peter put up, I always wondered how the gilding process went.

I just posted "Something Wicked This Way Comes part 5" about an hour or so ago, containing information about the exclusive member discounted pre-order for UC members only that starts at 12:01am Friday (THIS Friday) and runs three full days until 11:59:59PM Sunday - or they sell out, whichever comes first. There are 90 decks available here, and there are 25 already sold, so a total of 85 will be left if all of the UC pre-order decks are bought, otherwise that number plus however many are not bought here. The message explains in detail where those 25 decks went. 12 of them went to the two winners of the SWTWC part 1 contest, and 8 of them go to the other mods that didn't win a single-digit serial # - all my moderators here got one for a job well done except I can't give anybody 2 decks. Now, that being said, even if he only sells one per person, I think you can buy one more at full price during the quick KS project he's putting together to run starting Monday the 31st or Tuesday 1-July - depending on them approving the project.

I agree, those BB Redux decks would look VERY nice with a silver edge, no question about that! I have several of the Hermes decks from 1948-1955 with both gold and silver edges, and it's hard to decide which looks better, and you're absolutely right that certain decks just look better with silver.

i received a box today that had more padding, fillers, protective wrap, tape and cardboard than i have ever seen. if you are an international bidder or purchaser from their site, and your on the fence about whether the decks will arrive safe, dont be hesitant to bid or buy. it was such top quality packaging. oh and the decks are stunning works of art, but im sure you already knew that bit.

I thought they had posted a video of him working on it, but perhaps I'm recalling a sequence of pictures detailing the process from their recent update for either Pagan or Hotcakes? Not certain.

You know I am torn 50-50 On that note you see in the pic Peter mentions waiting at least 2 weeks before opening or "breaking" my deck so the sizing glue has a chance to completely cure. So we shall see

Well, hard call here: they are definitely so rare it's spooky if you happen to inadvertently disturb the 'cure' rate, even a little bit, unfortunately. They will be perfect - in two weeks, but for now perhaps best not to even take a _chance_ of 'injuring' that cure rate, because once it's disturbed you can't get it back to that previous cure rate. That's just the way gilding works, especially when applied in the old world craftsman style that Peter has perfected. I can't wait to see that pair in my incoming box from Uusi as well! It's bound to look quite stunning inside their 2-deck swivel redwood case! Absolutely stunning, I'll go...

Got an email from Linnea a couple hours ago saying that they were sending my gilded deck and the decks for my brick box. Sadly, the brick box won't ship for a few more weeks, but thats okay, because in about a week, I'll finally get to play with my Pagans!
