Considering the cult following bacon has I feel like they could have done more with this. Did the Vanda ones ever get made? The ones that were bacon-scented
Lordy... I'm speechless, to quote another user here. What is there to say?

I promised myself I would become nicer when commenting on decks, but this is hands down the worst one from CPC so far. I almost hope it doesn't get funded so they'll tighten up their criteria for decks they produce.
Her adult daughter, whom died of cancer two years ago, collected everything that related to pigs, and I think that this deck makes her think of her daughter with a smile; and that's a very good thing.
For me, being the Swine that I am, I just found the cards fun and funny; and I could easily use them for any kind of card game or themed tricks for young and old alike.
So I am in for these; and I may also send some of these to my other adult "step-kids" in memory of their lost sister too.
Many Thanks for the heads-up, and for making my wife have a happy memory of her daughter!

Anybody old enough to remember a pig-rolling game called, "Makin' Bacon?"
Well this failed miserably and has now been relaunched on another site with only a goal of $1500, they aren't digging themselves into a hole with this one are they? Now they aren't only copying other decks, like day of the dead and Excellence, but they are using Jacksons idea with Crowdtilt.
Kind of shocking this one didn't fund like the rest. The main reason I pledged was because of the re-done backs. Not that crazy about the deck but on the fence about still getting one.

I really don't know why people keep insisting on "CrowdFunding" things like this that are clearly nothing but retail sales. Mike G knows what he's doing, but I wonder sometimes if he is listening to feedback from people like us. The new "Day of the Dead" deck is likely headed in the same direction, I suppose. It would be different if there were not already three pretty large campaigns just done in the past few months with the exact same theme, but - there have.

Seriously? This is not amateur night at Kickstarter. This is a commercial company. Using your logic nobody would have ever bought a single deck from Elite, CollectiblePlayingCards, etc, etc. They purposefully dovetail projects one on top of the other. You have nothing to worry about except the fact that you might miss the few nice early bird tiers where they put stuff for people like us that are professional collectors...
