Re: Seven Seas Playing Cards KS
i just logged on to backerkit for this deck, they ran an awesome campaign, until i noticed they are charging 2.50 for a signature. Seriously ?! This is the least you can do for rewarding a backer, its not something you make a profit.

Re: Seven Seas Playing Cards KS
Most decks sigs only come with higher tiers. Somtimes working out to quite a lot more than 2.50

Re: Seven Seas Playing Cards KS
I had to sign over five hundred books once for a KS campaign. It was not pleasant. 2.50 is actually cheap. And the book wasn't wrapped in celo, I could just flip it open and sign the next one! I got myself one of each Seven Seas decks. They did run a great campaign.

Re: Seven Seas Playing Cards KS
This is something i dont like. Many designers like jackson robinson, Uusi, and many others offer to sign the deck if people requested at no extra cost. Typically higher tiers would offer something more than just a signature. I do remember some projects having a different pricing for signed decks, but i cannot recall any of which were successful.

Persian Empire is charging $18 for 2 sigs. Hasn't succeeded yet though.volantangel wrote: I do remember some projects having a different pricing for signed decks, but i cannot recall any of which were successful.

Re: Seven Seas Playing Cards KS
I'm on the fence about getting the LE Unbranded deck because it will be either deck. I don't like having the same deck twice unless the back is in a different color as well.

I've originally pledged for half a brick unsigned. As much as I want the cool kraken/whale box; I'm reluctant to buy coins, dice and logs just to fill the box up. Wish they had considered a deck only version but too much variety would complicate things even more I guess.

I was thinking the exact same thing! The Attack lid box would be great for a display but without the other "booty" inside, it'll look awkward because I'm not a coin and dice man myself.Eoghann wrote:I've originally pledged for half a brick unsigned. Yeah, looks like "Pirates and Sea creatures". Hope they run it similar to this campaign.

Re: Bicycle - Seven Seas - KS COMPLETE
I am just going to have to go with WoW!
I may have been one of the last one shipped, but it was well worth the wait.
The packing job was just exceptional.
They were way more careful than any shipping center, though you almost always find that with professionals who ship themselves. (And the didn't try to gouge us on extra shipping)
I got the one deck squid box (pictures to come) the quality is great and it looks fantastic.
Very happy with this campaign.

I still might get a squid top box or impossible bottle.

Re: Bicycle - Seven Seas - KS COMPLETE
Got my shipment today. This is freaking beautiful. Did 3 of each and 1 of the unbranded. Got 1 of each signed. Did an uncut, the 3 deck display box, coins, log and dice. Worth EVERY penny to me. The packing is the best I have seen. Well above what I expected. They even sent a little thank you note in a glass bottle. Even without the coins and log book, the box is badass. There really is no dedicated spot for the log, but it does fit in there when closed. Looks like there were only 20 of the big box made too, so, having lucky number 7 is sweet My only regret is not getting a second uncut and more decks. Would have also liked the deck in bottle. I am definately in for the next campaign. Also a little puzzled as to what goes in the third coin slot? Anybody know? As for the signature debate from before, i dont think it was bad at that price. I feel that other campaigns charge more for the sig, not to mention that a person could just get one deck at a low teir and have it signed. Just my opinion though.

Re: Bicycle - Seven Seas - KS COMPLETE
The only (can't even call it complaint) would be the coins. They're awesome but comparing them with the rest in my collection they're very light and flimsy. They might be pewter. Coz I held the kraken coin in one hand and pushed at it with my thumb and it bowed pretty easily. I straightened it out right away but was surprised how easily that had happened.

Re: Bicycle - Seven Seas - KS COMPLETE
Thanks everyone. The coin is pewter. I personally wanted to do the pewter, well....cuz I LIKE PEWTER! LOL But agree that they seem less expensive but in actuality they are more expensive. But, hang on to it because we are almost completely out. A replacement 3rd, coin???? well....you'l just have to wait! Launching next campaign soon, but most likely will be 2-3rd week in sept. now that Jackson is launching army deck the day we were going too. Gives us more time to make even more epic! thanks for the compliments though!

Oh, so the coin to complete my triple box might be in the next campaign? I thought maybe a generic BV cargo coin would go there.
