Brazil 2014 Deck - The Blue Crown
Hey Everyone,
A fun Brazil/Soccer themed Deck I designed for The Blue Crown is releasing tomorrow night. 5,000 Decks printed. Just 1 version. Very bright, fun and playable.
I'm not sure of the price point.
Thanks, Randy

I'm always down with colorful decks, I'm a little leery of BC/HOPC though. Remember their Olympic decks (Gold, Silver, Bronze) and how overpriced they were?

Gotta agree with the crowd on this deck. Sweet color scheme. Loving the orange and green and as a fan of the world cup I am going pick these up if they're reasonable price.

What is the bird used on the Ace of Spades? I'm wondering about the significance of it - the official mascot is a 3 banded armadillo (though I imagine the lisensing to use it would be a nightmare)

Re: Brazil 2014 Deck - The Blue Crown
Randy and I just talked by phone yesterday (day before - they're starting to blend together) and it's just another deck for him, which means by default that it's a great thing, has indeed already quite well done for this logistics-wise, doesn't need to be offered any help with his design, because as always he did his homework long before he breathed a word about it, and it's just going to be another slam dunk (I've used the baseball metaphor too many times, recently) to the point that all he needs to do is let everyone that has every pledged for any project he's designed, and from there it's simply a matter of collection pledges and shipping the items that were backed, he's done with the design process almost in every case, or at least appears to be that way - maybe not, I don't sit over his shoulders nor do we have a virtual session open at all times. Randy's a friend, and I was a drag-along "Crew" for White Ornates, but I certainly didn't control any aspect of that project other than the social media massive, indiscriminate bombing runs that I did myself with his permission and graphics and of course as usual I stubbed my toe(s) once or twice as I always do because I'm zealous about certain projects that just get me excited. "Are you feet warm?" Yesh, they are! "Are you aware that it's because you peed in your shoes?"... )and so forth and so one(.

Mike, from your last couple posts, I think you need to get some sleep.
No disrespect intended. We all know you're working hard.

They're up on the site now! It looks like they're priced at $7.95 and less.
MCJ, I wanted to highlight Brazil's birds for the AOS and Jokers. Paul, I bought the Rio animation as inspiration for the bright colors and birds. Now it's quickly become one of my kids' favorite movies!

Randy - It's a good deck. It's a safe deck. I think your capable of so much more. I remember asking you a long time ago to do the back of my card. I was looking for a 3-D optical illusion at that time. Eat some pistachios and get mean. I want to see what Randy can really do...

I like the orange and green combination, it's for a decent price so why not.

As Mike implies - this is kind of the point - a fun side project.sprouts1115 wrote:Randy - It's a good deck. It's a safe deck. I think your capable of so much more. Re: Brazil 2014 Deck - The Blue Crown
no doubt that they will be sold to murphys magic and then be available through your favourite magic store.
ordering directly from TBC is to expensive for me because of the int. shipping.
i think they will look good in flourishes
Good Job Mr. Butterfield

I think this one's going to be too limited for that to be honest, we will have them though.cosmicsecret wrote:no doubt that they will be sold to murphys magic and then be available through your favourite magic store.
