Here's an accurate representation of the 'whiz' sound when thrown.

So, when are these going to be available? I'm going up to Ricky Jay's Congress of Wonder in July and would love to have some time in with them!

I can think of a couple of people, I mean a couple of things I can practice throwing these at.
"When I like something, I buy. No matter who did it, how many were printed or how many (re)colors exist.
When I don't like something, I pass. No matter who did it, how many were printed or how many (re)colors exist."

Re: Banshees - Cards for Throwing -- Coming Soon
Richie's and Collectible Playing Cards also has Banshee presales. Richie's has free S&H and a 10% off discount, but the website is quite frustrating to use. To find the Banshees, click "Shop" and then "Recently added" (sorry, I can't freaking link to anything there). CPC's got a Memorial Day 10% off promo, but also a regular coupon code, thanks to Sparkz.

Little extra footage of our studio guys throwing the Banshees. note: They are not pro card throwers and STILL get good sound out of them.

I am the owner of http://www.Richiescardstore.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and I aware of some of the problems with my site. I am currently working on a new design etc. but you can now find the Banshees on my home page and all you have to do is add to bag. to continue shopping either click shop or just jec out using paypal or through the regular credit card prob.ryzellon wrote:Richie's and Collectible Playing Cards also has Banshee presales. First casualty! Veered off course and hit something hard. I suck at throwing cards but these are super fun. :j

Re: Banshees - Cards for Throwing -- Coming Soon
Got mine in today and first thing I noticed was how heavy the deck is. Just out of curiosity I weighed a typical deck against it and sure enough the Banshees weight was about an ounce more, which doesn't sound like a lot but it is apparent. Tuck is drop dead gorgeous.

Re: Banshees - Cards for Throwing -- Coming Soon
Yeah, it's pretty obvious. Tuck is a little bigger too... he's done a great job with the design overall. Think it perfectly suits the function of the deck.Widdee wrote:Got mine in today and first thing I noticed was how heavy the deck is. Re: Banshees - Cards for Throwing -- Coming Soon
Aside from weight and tuck depth, the other dimensions were comparable to the deck of Tally-Hos I had on hand. I've seen more size variation between tucks (and occasionally on the same tuck) in the same run. The height difference is more visible than the width difference.

Re: Banshees - Cards for Throwing -- Coming Soon
Has anyone bought their decks from Richies Card store? I pre-ordered mine from there a while back, I got my tracking number on June 5th but the package has not been sent yet? I sent a note out to Richies but was wondering if anyone had gotten their decks from there

Hey Pierre, I also ordered mine from Richie's, and USPS tells me they should get to me on Saturday.

Re: Banshees - Cards for Throwing -- Coming Soon
Bought a pack of Banshees earlier today. My first impression is that they feel and handle like the Maxpedition deck. They're noticeably heavier as ryzellon has mentioned.

I bought from Richie's too and received my cards last week. He forgot to add the freebie deck that was part of the "Spend at least $30 in May and get a free deck priced $6.99 and above" but I contacted him and he said he'd send along the free deck so that's the only thing I'm waiting on from him at the moment.

Re: Banshees - Cards for Throwing -- Coming Soon
Got mine in from Penguin Magic today. Fun cards but very brittle. After just two times of cycling through the deck throwing them (at insulation foam so not a hard backdrop) I have more cards with chipped corners than ones that are still complete. The whirl sound is rather cool and drives the cats crazy but I think I'll keep using the decks from the free brick bicycle sent me for play more cards day.
This was my second toss from 6' away. Kinda surprised it didn't go in further cause I can get some good velocity with cards.

Re: Banshees - Cards for Throwing -- Coming Soon
I don't know if it's mentioned somewhere else. I may have even mentioned it somewhere at some point. If not though, yea, Banshees Advanced exist. There's nothing coming soon about them though 2017. Twice the price of Banshees which are a tenner on the zon last time I picked any up on the zon.
