Now now calm down my minions, let me play around with it a little before it goes up in flames. I actually have an idea that might not destroy the deck..

"Burn, baby, burn!" (sorry, I am an old fart...) Kai, light one up, buddy!

Let's see - what has crossed the threshold at my door lately? I sold 3600 decks on Monday, so the outbound is much greater than the inbound. Well, I've been too busy to take pix this week, so I'll save it until later. Here's a shot of part of the 3615 that actually went the other way: (I haven't checked the shipping / tracking) but they went out on Thursday morning - at least delivered to my mega-post office the other 599 people in McClellanville use, likely were scanned in that afternoon (they close from 1-2PM for lunch) and sent through Charleston later in the afternoon. They SHOULD be getting delivered today and Monday, with the exception of the one Canadian "Priority International" shipment that I found out I had to use for insured shipments, and every one was insured for either $50 or $100, I actually lost about $30 on those because I didn't intend to make any money and cut it too close, and I didn't count on the extra insurance or 3% fee PayPal was going to take. No big deal, as I'm sure everyone is aware: "don't cry for me". (actually, I just checked, and except for the Canadian one going through customs, all have either been delivered, or are "out for delivery" with one exception) Check your mailboxes, folks - especially if you live in the SouthEastern US. I show Indiana and Massachusetts "out for delivery", but everybody else except the one in California has been delivered. The decks are exactly as shown: no cellophane, and they have a re-closeable top, and I took mine out and they look absolutely fabulous!

Hey, I'm not Eoghann but I followed the link on the Ottoman Deck and it seems like you can get both decks from this site http://pagnedemek.com/
Eoghann might have got them elsewhere though.

Yeah, I mainly went for the mad deck but I saw those there and I said why not. They're creepy.

Found them during my Google adventures. These guys are some Turkish artists.

Just a word of warning: I ordered these mid May, got them today. So their shipping is by donkey mail or something I guess.

Edit: damn I need to start typing faster. Haha

I think the Surena decks turned out exceptionally nice! I got a brick of each of those, not that many people really backed it, but I was in there from the start and she ran some specials in conjunction with our friend Max (MaxPlayingCards.com) as well. I was already at a "split" brick, and added another brick at the 8-deck price, so ended up with one of each.

Got these in from Richie's card store again. The guy has some pretty good promos.

He included the Inferno deck as a freebie...

I dont want it. It makes me... uncomfortable.... I think I'm gonna try and sell/trade it with my white Monarchs.

Mail call. A few goodies came today. A pair of KS pledge reward fulfillment, Killer Clowns and Meeple:
tmp_20140608_183432-1-1971983887.jpg
Next up, a pair of sealed gold gilt National PCC "Ramblers", with USPCC logo, and date code indicating likely 1953, though possibly 1933:
tmp_20140608_1836151095429278.jpg
Next we have a nice older BP Grimaud deck also sealed. So I can not show off the typical custom courts and pip cards:
tmp_20140608_183656-11441911463.jpg
And finally, I HATE single card, because they are often pilfered jokers, but I bought this one, from the personal decks made by USPCC for Fredo Marvelli in the 60's and used by him personally in one of his magic shows. Everyone a at once: "who the heck is Fredo Marvelli?" He was the founder and president of the Magic Circle in Germany in the 60's and early 70's and died in the mid 70's:

One more little deck, literally. Everyone has seen mostly AARCO Tom Thumb decks, but this one is from "Chas. Goodall & Sons, Ltd" in Britain and IHNI the age, but appears to be about 30's. Maybe Jace can guess from the AoS?

Hi Mike nice Goodalls, . Are they patience sized or smaller?
The Ace shown was used between 1867-1897. After 1897 the word "limd" was added to the legend . So your deck is at least 117 years old :o

Mike, I'm sure that most of us can remember exactly where we were when we heard that Fredo had died. I, for example, was seated in front of my computer - it was about five minutes ago. :D

I was pretty certain it was more than 100 years old, but not sure. That's pretty cool. The deck is 1/2 patience sized, just like all of the "Tom Thumb" decks made here are. You can put four of them in the space for one standard poker deck, and have room to spare. The only decks I have ever seen that are smaller at the Piatnik "micro" decks, which are 1/6th standard size, therefore about 1.125" tall and less than .75" wide, metric would be 2,8cm x 1,9cm - yeah, seriously. I have one pair about 30 years old and one pair about 75 years old, all sealed. You can put all 4 of them on your fingertips of one hand and have no problems carrying them around, though I don't handle them.

I guess it should have been a give-away that it had squared corners and no indices? Has to be pre-1890. Let's go 125 years+ old.

LOL at Robert - really, now? He was pretty famous when I was a kid, although you seldom heard about the German "Magic Circle" stateside.

Amazing how the quality has improved over the past couple of years and especially the past 6 months, isn't it? The cards are much better - nothing more boring than the antique "Bicycle" decks where the only difference is the back and the AoS (Joker - IF it has one). The tucks have gone from great to fabulous and will likely be out of this world within the next 6 months, because I am already aware of a few things that haven't hit the public eye - yet.

Pledged for it on Kickstarter on the first day. To be technical, actually the first minute when they were about to be sold out. In a way, I would've been fine with it being unbranded, for their Manifesto deck, it depends how it looks to decide to keep it consistent with the Bike brand or not.

They gave me a hat but I want that MailChimp deck!

Mmm, I'll have to get me some acrylic at some point - that's just plain sexy Mike!

My new Haul:

The box is just a box lol - bargain for a quid.

The mini deck is a double little duke patience set - the box is knackered but the decks are mint and include both jokers and ad card.

The orange/teal deck , tin and spread cards are the Fossil deck (fossil watches)

The Grimaud Monte Carlo Loews deck is a bit upsidedown lol (oops!)
