Thanks for reading my response. I guess this is a case where we agree to disagree. Lol I'll try to make my responses shorter next time.SBurk49 wrote: Sounds like justification of ill-mannered behavior to me. You're being an enabler, Sher. Not cool.
I ain't losing sleep over it y'all. So quit thinking I'm over here crying myself to sleep over it. It just irks me. That's all.
Also, Sher, I value your response, so I read it. All of it. However, I will not read something that long again. You will get a swift "tl;dr" next time.
Good talk.

These decks look good with using red pips because it'll look like other decks out. Maybe the next deck could have like red letters/graphics on them.

Thanks! I missed the last campaign so I will be sure to get in on this one. Beautiful cards by the way. The original BBoC is on my short list of "must haves".

Good talk.

If someone is taking the time to express themselves thoughtfully, and you can't be bothered to read the whole thing then just move on and keep your mouth shut. Why waste even more of your time and my time trying to publicly "shame" them? You're just being a troll.

You caught me.

My public "shaming" was all in good fun. My apologies if it wasn't received that way.
I just REALLY value conciseness.

I'm all for good fun, and humorous sarcasm... but sometimes with written text you just have to make it extra clear what your intent is.

Also, back to the topic, I'm with Necro. Really excited these guys are doing another campaign. Especially since the new editions are gonna look a bit better from what I can see.

Re: Black Book Manifesto - Launching KS June 2014!
This launches July 9th, noon EST.
From their insider email:
"It's official...the Black Book Manifesto is coming to Kickstarter July 9th launching at noon EST. The first 1,000 backers get awarded something special! We hope to see you there. "
There's no KS preview link (yet).

Re: Black Book Manifesto - Launching KS June 2014!
Well, at least it's better than the first deck's back design (which was terrible), but it's still a let-down to me. Yes, the pattern is visually pleasing, but only the name of the deck makes it boring. Hopefully the fronts will redeem it, as they did with the first deck.

That actually looks really cool. Don't really see anything wrong with it. It's miles better than the first deck's back.

A good reason to not go full bleed is a border on the front ala Tendril. No chipped black edges!

Re: Black Book Manifesto - Launching KS June 2014!
Hey UC’rs!
Sorry, we meant to get back here sooner but time has escaped us and seems to be moving faster and faster
We were going to stop in and share the back design but it looks like you guys beat us too it. We're glad to see you guys like the design - mmiikk is correct the front and back will both have a white borders.
We also wanted to stop in and invite you characters
to be a part of our Manifesto Kickstarter video. Since a lot of you guys and gals have the BBoC deck, we would like to include photos of you with your Black Book card (or art print) in the Vid.
We figured what better way to show the idea behind the Black Book (the concept that we all have a card within the deck) and the spirit of crowd funding than to include you all in the Manifesto Video.
If you want to be a part of this with us you can submit a photo of you holding your black book card, a shot of your card at your favorite place in town, a shot including your card with your fam, pet, or just a shot of your bboc card in your hand. You can take a quick photo with your phone or be as creative as you like. The only thing we ask (aside from keeping it all 1980’s PG-13) is your photo includes your BBoC card.
For your participation, we will also be including a little something extra in your Manifesto rewards package as well.
You can submit your photo here: http://theblackbookofcards.com/black-bo ... ubmission/
So far we've had some great submissions and we hope you have fun with it and be part of it with us!
