According to Accuweather.com, it is going to feel like 109 degrees F here in Fullerton, CA 92832 today (not normal!), and we only have a window air-conditioner in our bedroom...

But I will be camped-out near our front door today, watching to see if my Requiem decks get delivered to our street-side mailbox!

I'm jealous of all of you who've received your bricks already; but I do believe it is fair that the big orders went out first, before the smaller two-deck orders like mine.

Plus, I actually get a kick out of reading the arrival reports here; but I do wish more people would mention where in the world they are located!

And I'm already looking forward to the Heretic decks too!

Wow, Will, your post comes early! I usually beat the mailman home, as our street is the last of his route. I sometimes don't see the mail until 6:00 pm, or later, if the weather is bad.

Hope to see mine this evening or tomorrow.

I also hope you're not in any danger from the wild-fires!

Happy in Fullerton, California!

Unread post by WillHart CthulhuWho1 »

Yay!

My two beautiful decks of Requiem Playing Cards just arrived here,
and my wife, whom I "let" run out to our mailbox, only had to endure
a "Real Feel" temperature of 105 F to retrieve them.

Of course, as a Thank You to my wife, I also "let" her get first peek
through the deck I carefully opened too.

We both agreed they are awesome cards; and they now have us hungry
for the Heretic decks a.s.a.p.!

Well done!

Seattle, here. My mixed-six arrived today.

Lorenzo... Wow. Fantastic job. They are as awesome as I'd hoped, and my hopes were pretty high based upon what we were able to see on the forums and on the campaign page. I'm very glad that you found the help you needed to bring your project to fruition. This is brilliant work. I love the art, and the fact that these are useable as playing cards makes them even more awesome.

I tip my proverbial hat to you, and look forward to your future projects. Well done, sir!

OK, I fired a warning shot earlier (yesterday or the day before), but as of this afternoon, Requiem is officially "done"! No more orders to Lorenzo@designkiller.it please, although if you're needing a brick I'm sure he'll accommodate you there. It's time to move on to the Heretic decks, and I'm thinking you will see him hit the big green button ("launch") about a week from today. That's the preliminary target: Sunday 25-May, time TBD/TBC/TBA.

Now I just can't wait to get my "regular" decks, so I can open one and see by myself that wonderful art on the cards!

Okay, I came here to post a specific message, but first... Volantangel? That image you just posted? Awesome.

So, what I came here to say was... as we brace ourselves for Heretic, I have come to realize that I really, really, really should have gotten an uncut sheet of Requiem. I don't normally pick those up (I've only ordered four, ever) because I'm actually framing them and hanging them up -- and I only have so much wall space. But Requiem? Oy, I shoulda gotten that one.

Shoulda, shoulda, shoulda.

This deck is freakin' amazing. The art? Wow. Just... wow.

PS: anyone out there have an extra uncut sheet lying around looking for a home? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Got mine! I cannot agree more. Triumph is the word. And the fact that all pips are different from each other is really great.

Hello Guys...

A long time no see ;-)

I would ask something : Is the Augmented Reality app done ? I don't find it on apple store. Perhaps it's a Android app...

Anyway, i'm ready for next project (17 Feb.) ! Now, for money reason (I want to buy a house and I have pledged Conan project this month - a crazy and fun project like Requiem was), i have decided to only pledge Lorenzo's projects...
