Bicycle Karnival Earthtone9
A new deck from BigBlindMedia is coming out to showcase Owen's band (Owen owns BBM)
And if you look... Owen (from BigBlind) is on guitar

Re: Bicycle Karnival Earthtone9
I remember these being available as a kickstarter sort of thing but only with their album or something like that.
Bmpoker, will you be carrying these?

It has been a while and I honestly don't remember if Owen said these would be available separately, without the album or not. If they are we will be carrying them.
Thanks!

Nice, a band deck! I wonder if they will have skulls (again) on this deck...
I didn't know Owen played the guitar?! That's pretty cool. Have you guys heard any of their songs? I'm curios as to what they play.
As far as the cards are concerned do we have any other info besides the box art?

Too late! As noted on the .net, skulls appear to the left and right of the "horns" coming out of the ace of spades on the box.laranovales wrote:Nice, a band deck! I wonder if they will have skulls (again) on this deck...

Awww oh well shame though. I don't own a single BBM deck for that very reason. But it's not a bad thing. It's their preference on design. Anyway rock on !

Am i right that karnival decks don't fan well? I use a few of their decks last time such as dead eyes and after a while, i can't do a nice fan at all.
Simplicity is beautiful.

Yep had the Karnival renegades and they were truly bad quality.
The dead eyes are a bit better but still horrible hehe

I like that these aren't super over-the-top.

Re: Bicycle Karnival Earthtone9
Of all the decks they've made, this is leaps and bounds more interesting to me. Still though, the level of "grunge" and the "let's pack every possible millimeter with stuff and then add more" doesn't really make me want to buy. I will say they certainly have a style all their own, that's for sure!

These look really cool! And I guess you could call those thin borders! That makes me happy.

Re: Bicycle Karnival Earthtone9
I agree, Jay, the joker just looks like lazy rework of the back design.
Still, definitely one of BBM's better releases.

I'm liking the look of this deck... will have to pick one or two up when they come out... nice to see no skulls for a change in the design.

Not sure I like these very ornate aces. Have to see the courts.
Are the band members on the courts?

Re: Bicycle Karnival Earthtone9
I mentioned this before (on UC.net), but there are skulls on the box and on every ace.Strag wrote:So farMJF wrote:I'm liking the look of this deck... will have to pick one or two up when they come out... nice to see no skulls for a change in the design.
They're subtle, but you can definitely see them to the top left and right of the center pip.
