Re: Tally-Ho - Kings Wild Project Edition
I hope you're wrong. I've always wanted to see more variations to Tally-Ho decks and this is the most beautiful by far. I assume the No. 13 (instead of No. 9) is because of the year KW was founded?volantangel wrote:These look really sweet, but i think jackson is just playing around and wont actually produce this.

Hey Jackson,
When are you going to go public so I can buy stock in your company? You keep outdoing yourself!

Actually, I think he's eyeing the 2016 presidency. Notice he's been laying the groundwork with all these patriotic themes. Coincidence? I think not.samwisethegray wrote:Hey Jackson,

I don't have any Tally-Ho decks in my collection, but if this becomes available, it may become my first Tally-Ho deck.

Ohio printed ones. Hasn't been a better handling deck sinceWiddee wrote:Same here Sher, I went over to EBay to checkout the different Tally-Ho decks, anybody have a favorite or two of the ones out there?Sher143 wrote:I don't have any Tally-Ho decks in my collection, but if this becomes available, it may become my first Tally-Ho deck.

Re: Tally-Ho - Kings Wild Project Edition
Q1 Ohio Tally Ho decks are probably the best overall value for cardistry. Sadly, the Kentucky stuff doesn't measure up. You can still find them available on various places on the web, but they're starting to get harder to find. Between the two backs, I definitely prefer the circle back.
My favorite Tallys are the light blue Maeda Tallys - great unusual color with gold border, cool custom Jokers. I really like the Viper Circle Backs - UV500 Bee stock on Tallys is hard to beat.

Re: Tally-Ho - Kings Wild Project Edition
A few months ago I noticed on ebay a guy selling a brick of circle backs and a brick of fan back Ohio made blue seal for only $85 per brick. I sent him a note and he was gracious enough to do a mixed brick for me for the same price. The only other ohio made brick on ebay goes for at least $200. Great seller

Clearly Jackson doesn't understand the word vacation. I am beginning to wonder if he understands the word sleep. I think he's trying to take over the world by bankrupting all the card collectors.

Much prefer the circle back too. Any thoughts an that Viper deck?Mirror wrote:Standard Red / Blue Circle Backs are my favorites, I have a mixed brick.Widdee wrote:Same here Sher, I went over to EBay to checkout the different Tally-Ho decks, anybody have a favorite or two of the ones out there?
I was eyeballing that Viper earlier. From what I gathered the V1 had red hearts and diamonds and V2 doesn't?sinjin7 wrote:Q1 Ohio Tally Ho decks are probably the best overall value for cardistry. What are they doing different in Kentucky that's not as good as Ohio?MagikFingerz wrote:Ohio printed ones. The Viper Circle backs have red hearts and diamonds, while the Viper Fan backs are all silver.Widdee wrote: I was eyeballing that Viper earlier. From what I gathered the V1 had red hearts and diamonds and V2 doesn't?
I think they got rid of some good printing machines, or possibly switched out all of them. Huge difference though, I'd think even a non-cardist would notice it in a direct comparison.Widdee wrote: What are they doing different in Kentucky that's not as good as Ohio?

Bro you need to remedy that. As others have said, the Ohio ones are the tits, the bee's knees and the cats's meow all rolled into one. Even the new ones are awesome and provide a nice change up to the standard riderback on poker night yet are still inexpensive enough that you won't mind if they get 'chached' so to say. Only issue is they're not widely available thought I heard that other than on the web Tally-Hos are only available in NY area. I know they're never on the rack here in CA at least.
Looking forward to Jackson's take on them.

Re: Tally-Ho - Kings Wild Project Edition
Just curious if anyone has the David Blaine Split Spades Tally Ho deck and how it compares to the regular Fan back or Circle back from Ohio. Thanks for any input.

Re: Tally-Ho - Kings Wild Project Edition
IMO, the Blaine decks have a little more meat to them. But over all, not too much difference. For the price anyway.shadowkat wrote:Just curious if anyone has the David Blaine Split Spades Tally Ho deck and how it compares to the regular Fan back or Circle back from Ohio. Thanks for any input.
