Given that $40K has already been pledged on the current configuration, I don't see how they could change at this point... vote or not.

They could, however, unlock the painted deck "early" although I also think they are going to hit 50K anyway.
True, it is a bit late at this point. Unlocking the Painted deck at say $45k would definitely put them over $50k though.

I know before I ask it that this is a very lazy question but why hasn't the deck artist been invited here to discuss this? Not that he'd change his mind or anything but it would be nice to know the plan.

He was in here, check the first page for edgybros, but hasn't been back in for a while. Am sure they're noodling this. Poisonally, I think there's one deck too many in the stewpot and that Painted deck blows the other two away.

I was thinking about whether they should unlock it early to reach 50k and maybe you're right - $45k may be good. They're at $40k right now, but I'm not sure if unlocking it right now will push them over $50k, only because the painted decks don't have to be added on, like the ornate obsidians. If the painted deck is unlocked, those who pledged for more than one deck can simply choose to have the other deck as the painted one - no need to add on. However, unlocking it would most likely lead some (who have pledge for only one deck), to up their pledge.

On a completely unrelated note - I just noticed that new emoticons have been added. Or have they been there this whole time?! :ugdance: :ugking: :ugthink: :ucstar: :halfstar: :nostar:

Yep, I've upped my pledge. Up yours!

Er...

I've bumped up to half a brick, and also added for both coins. I may ratchet up to a full brick; undecided on that just yet.

I when from 3 to 6 decks. Already splurged on Grotesque, Origins and Flight of Dawn so I might go back down to 3.

5 out of 5 for the Dia De Los Muertos playing cards. I love all three decks and this is my first purchase in ages. Shouldn't even be buying them but there is a tax refund coming that should patch the wound.

I went for three decks, but like Bikefan I'm tempted by the half brick to get 2 of each. It takes the price down $3 a deck when you're "international". Please someone talk me out of that - I really can't afford it. :?

The uglies were on the original UC and got lost in the transition. I dragged them out of storage and made them compatable with the dark background we now have in the post windows. I'd like to know who made them originally.

Thanks Joe, for the kudos. :D And for the snazzy stars!

Awesome deck. Communication with creators is wonderful. Way to go.

I am in for the 3-deck set but perhaps I should raise the pledge to the half brick.

I find it annoying when you have two or more projects at a time that you really wanna get but the budget won't allow it; so you end up sacrificing a really fantastic deck, like the Dia De Los Muertos cards.
