Apple or Samsung?
Apple or Samsung?
Seems like both companies are producing awesome product. What are your views and which one do you prefer? I would go for Apple!

Re: Apple or Samsung?
I like mixing things up a bit.
I like Android phones for their customizability, so I'd have to go with Samsung for that. I use an iPad for class/studying, though, since there are a lot of nice note-taking apps and interactive anatomy apps for iOS.
In terms of (desktop) computers, I'd say build your own. It's fun and you can customize it to your needs. If you don't have the time, though, I guess I'd go with Samsung (Apple's desktops are too pricey for me). I like Apple's Macbook Pros for the durability, aesthetics, and lightness/ease of carrying around, but they're definitely very pricey (everything from Apple is overpriced, in my opinion). There are some aspects of OSX that I prefer over Windows, I'll admit, but those are more technical things (Alfred launcher, my opinion that Terminal beats cmd senseless-- I know I can install CygWin, but it's nice to have Terminal's functions out of the box on OSX, and some other things).

Windows all the way baby!
By end of year I plan on having:
Windows 8 on all my machines
Windows 8 Phone (Lumia 920 is a damn sexy phone - camera is top notch as well)
Windows Surface Tablet
Office 2013 (Once it's out)

Re: Apple or Samsung?
I need to get the Surface Pro when it comes out. Only have the Surface RT which is more of a consuming device like the iPad... but yeah, I've got everything else... and love it!
Re: Apple or Samsung?
As much as I like these new tablets, I still love my traditional workstation. It gets tiresome typing on a tablet screen keyboard or the surfaces type keyboard... I just prefer the full sized keyboard with ergonomic designs. I can type a heck of a lot faster on it and the machine obviously blows away anything in terms of performance when stacked up against any of those tablets/ipads.
