Sharps Blue/Red Legends Playing Cards
I did a search at unitedcardists.com for Sharps Legends Playing Cards but nothing came up. Does anyone know who released these decks?

Re: Sharps Blue/Red Legends Playing Cards
They were included in a Variety Box that Conjuring Arts sold recently. Here's quoting Bill Kalush talking about the box:

Here's a pic:Bill Kalush wrote:Sharps by Lawrence Sullivan. This great deck won't actually ever be released for sale in this form. Lawrence produced them to show off a new paper that will soon be available from Legends Playing Card Company and also from The Expert Playing Card Company. Getting variety box C might be your only chance to get a Sharps deck. It's available in 3 colors and these will be randomly chosen for each buyer of version C.

So that's why the were going for $300+ a deck.

Re: Sharps Blue/Red Legends Playing Cards
It's a pretty plain deck, very similar in terms of looks to DB's white lions. The tuck box has a little cut out, and a old school big flap (which I find the most alluring part of the deck).
Rare ? Hell ya ! Worth the money ? Meh!

Yeah, I don't see any reason to splurge for test decks when a new deck that's at least as good is bound to come pretty soonvolantangel wrote:It's a pretty plain deck, very similar in terms of looks to DB's white lions. Would be "neat" to have as a collection piece, but "neat" isn't worth $300.

Re: Sharps Blue/Red Legends Playing Cards
So, was this "new paper" ever really determined as far as compared to their regular stock and the competition?

Re: Sharps Blue/Red Legends Playing Cards
They feel much closer to what you'd expect from a USPC deck in my opinion, with smoother edges. From what I can see there are more similarities that just cosmetic with the White Lions too.Mike Ratledge wrote:So, was this "new paper" ever really determined as far as compared to their regular stock and the competition?
$300 is ridiculous in my opinion, whether they're a test deck or a pre-release that's a lot of money. I couldn't bring myself to sell them for that!

Does that mean you have sold some or are going to? Or was it just a hypothetical statement?JPMiddleton wrote:They feel much closer to what you'd expect from a USPC deck in my opinion, with smoother edges. Re: Sharps Blue/Red Legends Playing Cards
So, design a Joker & AoS, use a repeating back, add a tuck and print money? Works for me!

Re: Sharps Blue/Red Legends Playing Cards
Even the back looks like a Madison rip-off. I liked this deck the first time I saw the tuck but once you get past it there's really not much meat on the bone.Mike Ratledge wrote:So, design a Joker & AoS, use a repeating back, add a tuck and print money? Works for me!
