Well, D&D recently tweeted that they were working on a project with him, sooo... :? ;)

Edit: And that octopus looks very familiar.

yeah, Kraken Rum uses an Octopus in their products (for obvious reasons). A similar Octopus was seen in the Stranger & Stranger Ultimate Deck released by Dan & Dave...S&S designed the packaging for Kraken Rum.

Here's some insight as to why this deck features a nautical theme with an octopus: http://www.himynameismark.com/pages/about

I am still very skeptical about how the faces will turn out. I hope it wouldnt be repeated like the october deck.

On a different note, some people have already gotten it in their mail as part of the dotm.

Really don't get why you'd do all that nice illustration work but cheap out and not make them unique? I guess they'll sell them all regardless so it doesn't matter...

At the HMNIM Website they charge you $20.11 to ship 1 deck international USPS First Class. Priority Mail would be $40

$12/Deck + S&H for one-way repeating courts? This deck had so much potential. I know there are a lot of D&D fanboys out there, but I continue to be stumped as to why.

Why these guys spend so much time designing the inside of the tuck box and don't put enough effort into the court cards??

What's even weirder to me is that they took the time to make some very small differences on some of the courts...
for example: the two one eyed jacks, the one eyed king of diamonds, and the suicide king... so they aren't technically all the same, except for the queens (which ARE identical from what i can see on that uncut).

lazy, lazy, lazy...

but it's D$D after all, and i'm no fanboy... and since the October fiasco was the one and only deck i will ever buy from them...

"meh"
Keep it Sizzlin'!

Have real mixed feelings about this deck. Some things I like, others not so much. If I like enough about a deck I'll get a couple, if I'm nuts about it will get a brick. This is not a bricker. It's a two decker.

They must have run out of ideas for the courts. Anywho, I'll be in for one when I have enough money to spend on the less awesome decks. That's if these will still be in stock by then.

If they run out have no fear, they'll find another batch in the warehouse they didn't know was there. ;)

Exactly what I'm thinking. This deck goes into my list of, "Maybe I'll by it when I've finally bought all the awesome decks I want to buy and I have extra money to spend." which is likely not too soon...

Picked up 2 of the gray ones but missed out on the gold one if anyone has an extra. Grey v2 were $18 at either art of play website or https://www.himynameismark.com
