Can't imagine what kind of deck you'd get for just $1000. The art is ok for what it is, but seems like that has been done before. I know zombies are supposedly all en vogue these days but that feels really passé to me.

Currently on KS I could see that plans are underfunded. I mean that the creator put a small amount of money and the final end they almost 1500%. Viewing Nano Cache, Quicksilver, for example

This technique is commercial if I may say. But it is impossible to draw the conclusion that you give.

Last this is my opinion.

Edit :I have an answer about this project :
@Oswin our ultimate goal is to print this on Bicycle-grade paper from the USPC.

I don't hate it, and I don't object to using another printer at a lower threshold of cash (which they appear to have well surpassed by now, so that's moot), but I don't love it either. I think I'm tired of zombies on everything, too...

Hi guys, I'm Dern, one of the creators of this deck. Honestly, I'm OK with people not liking it on the basis that they don't like zombies. But I do want to clear some details up - this is going to be printed by the USPC on Bicycle paper (we're not putting their logos on it, but it is what the USPC calls Bicycle paper and Bicycle finish).

As a stretch goal, we're working on an LE deck of Bee cards. That actually hasn't been announced anywhere yet, so consider it a UC scoop.

Also, odd question: Why do people keep calling the United States Playing Card Company the USPCC when they call themselves the USPC?

Maybe because their company name is United States Playing Card Company, i.e. USPCC is the correct abbreviation (or maybe some of us are just too anal, I know I can be sometimes).

Anyways, welcome to the forum. Creators are always welcome here, no matter what their creations are :D

Honestly I think the brains suit is hilarious (especially the ace of brains) but I'm just not a zombie fan I think.

The aforementioned Bee deck is now officially unlocked, along with a metallic pewter-colored back:

They're on sale right now. $5 red or green, $12 pewter. For anyone interested.

I wouldn't suggest using their site.

I placed an order in March, and finally gave up and called my credit card company to get my money back. The dude just kept making excuses. He moved, he is hiring people to help, and wouldn't reply to the paypal inquiry for getting money back. Just a fair warning.

I really did want these decks.

Oh wow that sucks. Thanks for the heads up!

Edit: so I contacted him to see what's up:
Hey guys! I placed an order today. But someone just told me that he placed an order months ago that never shipped. Just wanted to know if everything was ok on your end. If you don't have the decks in stock anymore I understand. I just want to make sure there's no misunderstanding.

Thanks a lot!
Reply:
They're back in stock. There was a giant snag in our store orders from a cross-country move.
Let's see where that takes me. It wasn't a big order and they were on sale. So fingers crossed.

Thanks, hope you get them, maybe I can get a friend to pony up the cash to buy them for me and I pay them back.
I gave him 60 days, and then just had enough. I was polite and tried to be accommodating as I do understand how moving causes an upheaval. Just the "oh i'm mailing them tuesday", "oh i'm mailing them next week" every week was annoying.

He's got three Kickstarter projects that are running extremely late. He's been pretty evasive when he does bother to comment on them. I would avoid giving this guy any money.

Pretty annoying when one deck was $14 during KS. I paid $57 for what would now be $44.

Well I finally got the decks, that I ordered nearly a month ago. Got them today. And not after (politely) hounding them about twice a week after two weeks had passed with no news. They kept giving me the "whoops, forgot to send it" or "it's in the mail". Despite apparently paying for priority 2 day shipping, they would never drop it off at a mailbox.

So if you really want these, heed the warning. It takes them forever to ship, and only when they're in the mood to do so.
