I wish T11 would just design and make tuck boxes for other playing card designers/manufacturers like E, Jackson Robinson, Uusi, etc... However, if the Medallions deck is a fully customized deck with custom courts and pips, then T11 is finally taking a step in the right direction. Shouldn't Andrei Jikh be here hyping the crap out of these?

Got this from FB, well not quite the full custom i was looking for, the faces look distorted, especially the king. Looks wayy to similar to the artisans imo.

These are another T11 disappointment to me. The backs are simply more detailed Tally Ho Circle Backs, and it uses the same design everywhere. It's nice, but really boring. And the courts can't be called "custom" by my standards, more like "retouched standards" - at the same level as recolored.

I agree magik. The only reason I bought an is because they will loot great displayed on my shelf. The tuck is nice.

Granted, the face on the king of spades looks kinda weird, but I think the queen looks fine. If anything, the faces and those center discs (I mean, medallions) don't bother me as much as those in McKenzie's Empire deck. In my humble opinion, I think the Medallions are better than the (similar?) Artisans, and maybe the Monarchs(?).

This marks my first T11 order (well actually, this is a side order to my planned purchase of some Black JAQKs). And so, I burn another hole in my wallet T_T

Right on cue. I'm surprised you came back here. I thought you pouted and picked up your toys and left the sandbox for good after the last time. You're always telling us to start a club, I think you secretly want to join! I don't poop on EVERYTHING T11 does, I've always maintained Theory Dozen Minus One knows how to make awesome tuck boxes. Its just that you guys behave in so many ways that are poop-worthy.

If its any consolation, T11 won the Best Black Friday promotion contest by virtue of being the lesser of all the evil promotions that were out there. Now that I think about it, Bicycle Club 808 won. Wait a minute, Sharpie beat you, too! Hey man, T11 wins the bronze medal, kinda like the color of your Medallions deck, so its appropriate and all good.

Speaking of poop-worthy, is the Medallion deck the deck that you promised would be "game changing"? It is, isn't it? Don't get me wrong, it has a beautiful tuck box (as usual for T11), but it makes me think that if the Artisan deck had sex with the Monarch deck, the Medallion deck would be their illegitimate love child. Two good looking parents, you'll probably get a good looking kid. But "game changing"? As they say in NFL Live, "C'mon, Man!!!" Please pardon me for feeling that the "game" has not, in fact, been "changed", its just more of the same. I'm sure everyone (not just the 3 or 4 dudes in our club) will agree that overhype and false advertising is definitely poop-worthy.

"Hey guys, Andrei here again. I just want to give you a heads up on a new deck Theory11 will be releasing on Black Friday. We're calling it the Medallion deck. If you loved the Monarch and Artisan decks, you'll love the Medallion deck as well. Its going to have an awesome tuck box consistent with T11's high standards, and we're even going to customize the court cards a bit more than just the usual re-coloring of the courts. We've heard your requests for more customization and we listened because we want to give you the most bang for your buck as valued customers with a truly attractive fully custom deck. I hope you'll be as excited about the Medallion deck as I am telling you about it!"

I could've respected that. Its honest and not over the top. But instead, you said, "Our next release is going to be a game changer though - you heard it here first. Can't say what it is but...." That is just unnecessary hype that will do nothing but piss us off when we get the deck in our hands and realize no game has been changed. You just set up a perfectly fine deck for failure.
