Gazeka - Welcome. I have a question. I know the rank of your court cards are (R)oi, (D)ame, (V)alet. What would the Bishop be in French? "évêque" or (E)venue. What Is the name of a Bishop in French? Hope you enjoy your stay, you will find friends. Check out http://texasplayingcards.com to see what I'm asking. (C)availer and (C)hevalier are the same.

It's Roi Sprouts not Rio..... If you are talking Bishop as in chess then we call it a "fou" which means literally crazy

Welcome, Gazeka!

After I got hooked on "hand dexterity tricks" (for lack of a better general term) I also tried pen spinning. It was cardistry that attracted me the most (my first was zippo lighter tricks), but I never got further than a thumb-around and reverse thumb-around, as well as a half-decent finger pass. Ordered a few modded pens, but I just couldn't get the sonic to stick, and I really wanted it to.

And I don't like football either :D

By "rubber band", do you mean the (pen) thumb around + reverse back and forth thing? I can do that a few times, but I can't keep it going for very long.

If you mean stuff with actual rubber bands, then I have no idea what that's about

Damn, that's pretty cool. I don't think I have the perseverance to sit and practice with something as small and delicate as a rubber band though.

For magic you should check with the magic section, I'm more of a flourish and thin borders guy  (bit of an inside joke, you'll get it soon enough)

Thanks Pete. So you would use (F)ou instead of (E)venue. What is the feeling of Evenue? Is it like the pope? Got to be careful when trying to market to other countries. It has to be right or you look like a fool or piss people off.
