Holy crap, that's a lot of circles!

Interesting color scheme, but I'm curious how they would actually turn out printed. Suits and pips needs to be easier to distinguish.

The indices are just awful.

At least until I see how clear they are in my hand that is.

Somebody's been drinking too much coffee. This is an assault to the senses. I'd like this deck if were pulled back a few notches.

i´m wondering as well, if that´s possible for the USPCC to print so much detail...not to end up in a color mess.
from a art point those cards look not bad - from a playable or use in magic point, well nope.

$10 for early birds...well the trend goes this way eh? :(

I like the color scheme. The deck really looks like the last few Elite has had on kickstarter. Jumped in for the 2 deck early bird and will see how it goes.

I am going to back this. I am not a huge fan of the court cards but like other bits. Unless bicycle increased their ability on what they can print this is going to be VERY interesting to see what actually gets printed versus what is here. Same with the poker chips which dwarf the abilities of most printers I have ever seen.

But I love these odd ones:)

These cards defiantly have the circle bling-bling factor. I'm with MagikFingerz I don't think you could play a game of Texas Hold'em with these cards. The indexes need to be easier to distinguish. I like the way he has the rank of the card inside the suit, but of course you know why. It leaves more room for the artwork.

"In my car right now. Will post more details when I come home" badpete69 it's bad enough people are texting and driving, but your posting and driving. You better cut that crap out. :D

Their video is just over 3 mins which is fine, but with all the hi-tech images not a lot of information. They have the standard fluff items, but the poker chips are digital and seem to good to be true. Who is making them? They have a stretch goal at "25,000 - custom finish for all decks" Did something change? I do like the 45,000 stretch goal "custom premium wax seals" I thought of doing that, but not for 5,000 decks. Seems a lot of hard work. I would really check these guys out before throwing money at them. They are not connected to Facebook and have not backed any Projects, but they say "We are a small New York based workshop and design studio".

I said I was in my car but I wasn't driving...When I picked my kids up from school there are 30 minutes difference between when my daughter comes out and my older son...So I sit and browse the forums while I wait. I can barely type on these smartphones when I am parked let alone trying to do it while driving hehe

I like these better than the last couple of Elites TBH.

I'm backing them for now - the courts are interesting and look great. Overall the deck looks great - if a tad over designed. As has been mentioned a slight simplification to make indices easier to read would be a big plus.

With so many projects hitting every month now I tend to back most things I kinda like to get the early bird then back out later as projects develop (or don't) and my budget dwindles!

Almost worth collecting a couple for the sheer insanity going on in the deck as conversation pieces. May pick up a couple for that reason alone.

I'm hesitatingly in.

There is SO much going on. They're very pretty but I can't see looking back at them down the road and thinking "Wow. These still rock."

That said, even though it's eye candy, it's competent eye candy.

Went in on a pair for the sheer novelty of it, will go in heavier if they add a black light or lava lamp stretch goal.

Agreed. Also, I don't like the 1-way courts.

Pretty much what I am doing. Also its nice to have them and then see what you actually get from them and Bicycle to compare.

I like the pips but that's all. Too much going on. If these people helped or are with Elite, you could tell because they put the name of the deck under Ace of Spades.

I jumped in on these cards. The art is magnificent!.
I don't mind the one way court cards as I only collect custom decks for the art.

This is what I meant by pulling it back a few notches. Much better. They need to revisit the whole deck and make minor changes like this to improve the visibility of the cards. A small change here and there makes a lot of difference.

Custom Finish Stretch Goal Unlocked:

"Hey guys,

We have reached the $25,000 stretch goal! This means that we'll request USPC to make a special custom finish just for our cards. The cards will feel extra smooth when you play with them, and the ink will be better sealed. The custom finish improves the performance and makes the cards last longer.

We are currently designing some exciting new rewards and we'll update you soon.

Now let's move to the next stretch goal: metallic inks!

Thank you very much,

Mike & Wayne"

They do have a FaceBook page. It started Oct 17th. https://www.facebook.com/cardiciansnewyork

Wow! That is so cool USPCC is making a special finish just for them.

Quite. It's one thing to produce a custom (read new) finish, but they word it as if no ther deck will ever have it. No company is going to innovate and then throw that innovation away.

I imagine it will simply be a combination of existing texture and finish that isn't normally produced (e.g. Magic finish and smooth texture - I think Mike posted a pretty comprehensive list of the different types a while back)

Montecarlojoe - Don't be fooled. USPCC only has 2 finishes and both are free. Card stock is Bicycle and Bee. Bee is .08 more per deck minimum 5,000 decks. It seems there are only have 4 different styles of cards. Bicycle/Embossed, Bicycle/Smooth, Bee/Embossed, and Bee/Smooth.

Edit: Tiffany - "We have 2 stocks, Bicycle grade and Bee grade. Aristocrat is Bicycle grade. Thanks!!"
