After all of the other minimalist decks in the recent past (see post above) I thought deck design couldn't get more boring.
Guess I was wrong

It took 8 months to design that? It doesn't even have custom courts. Just a 'custom' ace of spades. Even merz tries harder than this.It is my pleasure to introduce the Anarchy Casino Black playing cards. This project has been in development for the past 8 months where the inspiration behind the design began.

"In development for 8 months" is probably a fancy way of saying "we got the idea for this a night we were out drinking 8 months ago".chess wrote:It took 8 months to design that? Seriously?
Can we even call something like this "custom" any more? How about something like "rebranded standard"?

I saw that "8 months" line and thought, "hmmm, I wonder" as well.
I guess while the design/customization is fairly light; at least he added a gaff to the deck?
While moving pips isn't super original, at least it's something?
This deck idea could have had decent potential for customising courts though, too bad .

I don't see anything to indicate "moving pips". That gaff card just looks like the symbols on the back of the card have been moved.chinaboy64 wrote:I saw that "8 months" line and thought, "hmmm, I wonder" as well.

The other card is just an "ad card" at this point, not even a joker.
I guess they must have spent 8 months trying to decide on the right shades of black and white...

It took them a long time to go through fifty shades of grey...th4mo wrote:chinaboy64 wrote: I guess they must have spent 8 months trying to decide on the right shades of black and white...

Another Wynn casino deck knock-off, another boring deck.

Good Lord, so boring and uninspired! This deck may set a new KS record for the least amount of money pledged!

Yet another British deck that will fail EPICly to be funded. What is it with unsuccessful British decks on KS? Probably the only good one was the Empire, but then that was courtesy of Lee Mackenzie.
I guess backers just don't like British decks? Which is a shame for us British folks who have trouble getting decent KS decks because they are in $.

Draw like a Boss is a great looking deck - I was too late to the party for that one though
